Is there a web site for these trucking companies: Warner Enterprises;Schneider National,Knight Transportation? I am solely interested in learning more about the trucking company (training schools) that were mentioned in my question.
never tought about Knight Transportation been a KKK company...? i mean, im not sure, but I've hearded a couple of times from my US History in High School, that he thinks that the ku klux klan or skinheads have a big business, since in the movie American History X the fat guy works for some company. And I always saw white truckers working for this company, never seen black, latino, or any other race driver. Is it me or just my imagination to tink something like this?
In the movie, "Dark Knight", why didn't Bruce rebuild Wayne Manor, the trains, etc? At the end of "Batman Begins", he says he will rebuilt Wayne Manor "brick by brick" and they also talk about improving the foundations (the bat cave). Does that mean that they are going to show a rebuilt Wayne Manor and a repaired public transportation system in "The Dark Knight Rises"?

How can i make this paragraph shorter? o All Yahoo answer user this paragraph explains the Norman defence system, also is this paragraph good writing or bad? The superior conqueror of England, displayed his triumph victory of the Battle of Hastings on a tapestry, called “The Bayeux Tapestry.” The tapestry explained the story of how William became king of England. Norman castles are shown in our tapestry, as its one of the best substantial defense systems used by the Normans. After William won the battle of Hastings, he needed to take order of his new kingdom. When William became king of England he was not control of all England, as some England cities such as London were still populated by Saxons. William’s army was forced to crush many rebellions to take over England. During century of 1069-70 was the time of the “Harrying of the North,” a period where William’s army moved north, burning villages, crops, destroying houses, murdering locals. Wooden castles were built later, but then re-developed into steel castles (wooden castles are flammable). The castles took affect after conquering new cities. They were built outside Saxon towns, to stop Saxons from raising an army and preventing rebellions. Defeated Saxons were forced to build the castles. The Saxons hated the Normans, as they were treated harshly and they took their land. Castles had been built on the best location. Normans added essential defense techniques for castles by having moats to prevent floods, mottes (large hill to prevent invaders from attacking), bridges, bailey (small village by castle), gateways, and archer towers. During war, and the battle of Hastings, the Normans had a unique defense tactic. Horses were dominant. A charging horse could drive a lance through an enemies shield, and extra height gave a knight a longer swing of its sword. Normans weld wooden shields, daggers, spears, crossbows, clubs, battle-axes, and javelins. They had specific soldiers; archers, knights, soldiers on foot, and attackers. Our tapestry and William’s tapestry included distinctive and unique symbols. One distinctive symbol is weapons, including swords, shields, and crossbows. These weapons were intimidating. it symbolized power of the army, strength, and resistance. A soldier is another symbol that expresses cooperation and group defense. Hawks are commonly shown in the tapestry, which represents freedom, and predator, or in other words power. Castles displayed represent the Norman community, intimidation, and defense. The symbol that was extremely useful was mighty sailboats, which symbolized transportation and to hold cargo. Another source of transportation was the symbol of a horse, which also helped soldiers to fight. A commonly repeated symbol was the livestock to feed the community, such as cows, pigs, sheep, and goat. Overall the Normans were omnipotent, and had productive defense tactics, which interested me to choose this topic. In my opinion I believe that the Normans had a masterful defense system, which allowed them to take over England, stop rebellions, and never allow England to be invaded again. The Normans war tactics influenced their technique to medieval clans, to neighboring countries, and today it gave us an idea of the Normans lifestyle, and how they managed to defend and keep their long lasting, English civilization.

How do you like Puns? Helping out the knight Sir Edgbert, knight of the realm, was hurrying home on a cold, dark, wet night when, suddenly, his horse suffered a major coronary and died on the spot. All Sir Edgbert could do was collect up what belongings he could and tramp onwards. After staggering for a spell, he decides that he must get alternative transport. Accordingly, he heads for the nearest building which, as luck would have it, is a small farm. He strides up to the door, bangs on it and shouts 'A horse! A horse!. I must have a horse!". The door opens to reveal a young girl. She looks at Sir Edgbert and says, "Your pardon, good Knight but my father and brothers are returning from the village on the other side of the forest and will not be back before noon tomorrow. They are riding all our horses". Sir Edgbert is saddened by this and says "But I must return home immediately. Have you any idea where I may accuire alternative transportation?". The young girl says "I know of no other horses hereabouts, but sometimes my brothers ride our Great Dane dog when the need arises. Would use of that help?" Sir Edgbert is desperate and says "If I must, I must. Show me the animal". The young girl leads the way around to the back of the farmhouse to a stable. She dissapears inside and returns leading and enormous dogs which is quite of a size for riding. Unfortunately, the dog has seen better days. It's coat is threadbare, it's legs are spindly and it seems to be breathing labouriously. Sir Edgbert looks at the young girl and says, "Surely, you wouldn't send a knight out on a dog like this?"

Am I a Clever Writer? Ok, I came up with these "random" (I don't know if that's the word) sentences, for English class. I know not ALL of them make sense, or are clever. So, can you please tell me which sentences I should keep and which sentences I should ditch? Here they are... I felt worse than Terry Fox when he read a joke of himself on a wrapper of Hubba Bubba. I felt worse than an 8 year old boy realizing all the Pokemon cards had sold out just a minute ago...to an 8th grade rock-fanatic. I felt dumber than that one kid who dressed up as Spiderman for the premiere of the Dark Knight. I felt dumber than a women who paid for an abortion before checking her pregnancy test results I feel more desperate than a pilot trying to take his aircraft off - in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I felt more desperate than a girl who treats the rehab clinic as a dating centre – A great way to meet new people who are looking for a long-lasting relationship, this time with a person. I felt lazier than an Italian chef who hires a “cheese-grater”. I felt lazier than an overweight man who uses his dog as a “remote-fetcher”, you know, to get the remote from the table to his hands, where he can press the “on” button, ALL while his ass smothers his poor velvet sofa. I felt lazier than a man who uses his car to get to his neighbours house, you know, for “quicker and easier transportation”. I felt crazier than a middle-aged who refers to his TV has a "portal to another world".
If America's economy is so bad, why is our discretionary spending so high? Exhibit A: The box office (http://www.imdb.com/boxoffice/alltimegross ) The 2008 release of "Dark Knight" is the 2nd biggest box office success ever, there are three 2008 releases in the top 25, and almost all of the top movies come from the last couple of decades. Is that all based on inflation? Population growth? I doubt it. Exhibit B: Restaurants are being built in my neighborhood at a tremendous rate. If we don't have money to waste, then why are we not cooking at home at about 10% of the cost of eating a meal out? Exhibit C: Gas prices. We complain a lot about gas prices, but I don't see a significant decrease in travel. Why aren't people walking, bicycling, carpooling, or using public transportation more?

Which of the following vehicles from movies/television would you rather own? 1964 Aston Martin DB5 (Goldfinger) KITT (Knight Rider) DeLorean Time Machine (Back To The Future) Batmobile (Batman) General Lee (Dukes Of Hazzard) I also thought about the A-Team Van, but only if the A-Team came with it as an option. A 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) would also be sweet, but it doesn't quite hit the legendary status of the other cars on this list. Feel free to write-in a vote as well, I'm sure I missed some. Please limit to (primarily) personal ground transportation.
How awesome would DRAGONopolis be? It be an entire city devoted to dragons. All transportation would mmic the form of the dragon. There would be dragons of every type in statue form. Heating would never be an issue. There would even be dragon currency. Princesses welcome, Knights can exit stage left. DRAGON 2008 "I BELIEVE IN U.S." I know, I put an extra m in mimic. It was by accident.

Where really we are going towards? I was glued to the TV during a match when I saw the ad of a leading toothpaste brand which now has become a household name for us. What hooked up me towards the ad was the presence of both Shahid Kapoor and Virendra Shehwag in that ad. It encompassed the glamour value of both the world, cinema and cricket. That increases brand recall. We all still can remind the dance of Viv Richards in a beverage ad. That's how the product brand is to be build. We can not overrule the chance of push sell over the counter. But building a corporate brand is not that easy.It must associate itself with some definite set of values acceptable to all and sundry. People would take into account the service, innovativeness ,human resource and future planning as well as execution status of the present plans while judging a company. That's where the role of an experienced and prudent management shows up. It does not then pertain to only glamour value. However ,in West Bengal everything boils down to the incidents of Singur and Nandigram.Lot of water has flown under the bridge since we tried to find the answer of the dilemma of Industrialization vs agriculture. There are so many dilemmas in real world.Whether we should set up factories or we should always harvest crops.Left front was accused of inhuman coercion regarding acquiring land. It is not clear how far it is true.So far I can remind that the land was taken over and above the market value and some unwilling farmers were approached for further negotiation. However, later it became a political hot potato. According to records,90 percent of our workforce are in unorganized sector. With that data in hand and having seen the quantum of migration of rural folks towards cities for finding an alternative to agriculture ,it is obvious that industry is needed. It is not the problem of West Bengal only, but of whole India. That's why states are also trying to open themselves to free and unemcumbered private capital .And surely, industrialists are preferring the states where they would have to face least resistance for setting up an unit and surely ,on land. Now ,the demand of the opposition TMC of solving every problem as soon as they come to power is somewhat sounding like pulling of the so called rabbit out of the hat.Left front acquired land for setting up industry. This is normal. No one could ever fry an omelet without breaking eggs. Setting up a land bank is also as tricky as navigating a stormy river.Because industry wants land in vicinity of market, ports and other facilities like good transportation and water supply etc. Otherwise a lot of industries would have gone to sahara desert or thar. Now the question arises whether the price of the land is acceptable to the farmer and pricing according to the quality of the land. That needs to be fixed up first. It is also evident that if all the industries of the world come and set shop in West Bengal, they would not be able to occupy more than 1 percent of the arable land. I would not bark up the wrong wood crying over FDI.If we could not make arrangements for our own multinationals, how we can think about FDI?That would be a bit too much for now. Now it is to be seen how left front can coordinate their campaign and gel with the people and convey the actual needs of our society. The TMC intellectuals and stars would be there as knights in shining armor who knows everything about our culture and history. The humble left front has no cricketer,no actors or intellectuals. I doubt they don't even have good carom players. How they are approaching towards election? Congress has again capitulated to the demands of TMC and fallen back to their time tested formula of high command's order. But one thing is very amazing. Today every party is saying about being keenly loyal towards their high command. That reminds me about the theory of central democracy of communists. Why they don't create a politburo and come under the marxist banner openly? Surely,we have to think about the way towards progress and development. We should think before we leap.Isn't it?

How can i make this paragraph shorter? To All Yahoo answer user this paragraph explains the Norman defence system, also is this paragraph good writing or bad?

I felt lazier than an overweight man who uses his dog as a “remote-fetcher”, you know, to get the remote from the table to his hands, where he can press the “on” button, ALL while his *** smothers his poor velvet sofa. I felt lazier than a man who uses his car to get to his neighbours house, you know, for “quicker and easier transportation”. I felt crazier than a middle-aged who refers to his TV has a "portal to another world".
