Att Store Location Knowledge Base
Is there a contact number for satellite ATT locations? I live in houston, texas and have been trying to find the number for an ATT location. It's not a store. It's one of the main locations that the tech guys field from. Where the computer engineers have their offices. Do they keep these numbers unlisted? I found a weird number for them at houston.com. But no one picked up, I doubt that it's correct. The reason I'm asking is so the child support division can call them to verify employment. Or will the 1-800 human resources/employment oppurtunities number be fine? Anyone know? Here is the address of the specific location : 14575 Presidio Square. Houston,tx 7083. Any info would help. Thanks!
iphone 3gs store locations? I'm trying to buy it, but i dont where it is located exactly. i know that they are at the att core stores but where else?
How to locate a phone after disconnecting the service? I switched from ATT to verizon and transferred my number too. The att phone went missing right after that. There are plenty of pictures and all my contacts on it. I asked every store I went to. Looked everywhere. Is there a way to call att and ask them about its last location? I had GPS service on that phone.
Iphone return help!!!? can I return my Iphone in a different location from where I got it from. I got my iphone in this att store today in a different city from where I live. Can I go to a close att by my house to return it?
Please help with this iPhone question.? Ok, so I got the 8gig iPhone 3G last night and only got the 30 dollar data package but no gps. Well the guy at the ATT store waas saying that I could use google maps to find my location and get directions which does not use the gps, but after using it I was concerned that it was because my former Blackberry Curve's my location on google maps was off by a good bit while the iPhones was right on the spot... So my question! Is, am I safe using the location service on the phone using google maps while avoiding the use of costly gps? Thanks for any help but I am totally new to the iPhone and the way its menus and what not work. Also, does anyone know of any good free apps that add a video camera, free tv, and a meter that shows the batteries actual percentage left. Thanks again! Yeah that basiclly answers my question, so does that also include when I open up my camera it asks me if I want it to save the location that the photo was taken in? If I say yes then there's no charge forthat right? Thanks again-- I'm trying to avoid large charges lol
i want to return my iPhone 3G 16GB for a new one? i want to return my iPhone 3G 16GB for a new one cause my "current location" stop working after upgrade 3.0 but thats not the point if i take it to apple store to check it and assuming they will give me a new one. Help!!! itunes can't read contents of iphone! 10 points for solution? i have an iphone 3gs software version 3.1.3 (not sure what that really means) and it al started when i pulled my iphone out too early during a sync. afterwards everything waas fine excpet my ipod app which says no content all i have is music, no videos podcasts etc. but i set the iphone to manually manage music and synced it on my other computer and it brought all my songs back. but then i assumed that the manualy manage thing had done the trick so i hooked it up to the original computer again and i lost all the ipod content again. so i hooked back up the the 2nd computer but this time instead of syncing and fixing it, it just said itunes cannot read the contents of this iphone and it said to fix it you must restore it to factory settings but when i try to do this it downloads an update for about 8 minutes then when it says verifying with apple it says iphone is not eligible for the requested build?? i'm fine if the restore takes the photos and apps off the phone cuz i can just resync them with itunes, but i don't want to lose sms messages or contacts and i'm unsure if i have a backup i use windows xp and when i google the back up file location for xp it gives me one but no location exists on my computer. if anyone has the solution to this i need it very soon if none of this works ill go to an att or apple store and hope to get some help there but please if you know the answer i need it soon!!! sorry this was so long its just all the things ive looked up on the internet are never the exact case i have so i wanted to make sure i got everythign right and i have never jailbroken the iphone
I think I just bought a stolen iphone 4, can I still use it? Okay before everyone starts telling me what I did wrong. I.e. bought it on craigslist, paid cash, met the guy between locations. On the phone the guy seemed like a good person. But I now I know that I am way to oblivious to the real world. After telling some friends, they have given me the felling that I bought a stolen iphone 4. I tried to see if someone owned it before me but it has no sim card and I can not turn it on. It says insert sim card and plug into itunes. I have no way of telling. I think the phone was whipped clean and there doesn't seem to be any information on it. I did some research but I really don't understand the rules about having the phone. Can I activate this phone? If I do, will I be in trouble for using it? I don't know what to do. I would have bought one form the apple store or att but they've been sold out for like a month now. If I call Att and try to add it to my account will I get in trouble, I mean even if I told them the situation? I tried to contact the seller and have not gotten a response, which makes me even more nervous.
Is what this company is doing legal? A person works for a privately owned ATT Wireless company. That means it's not corporately owned, it's an authorized retailer. The company has cameras in each of their stores and are watching a store randomly and they see an employee who is not busy and is text messaging. Obviously, they can ask her to stop and blah blah blah she should be working. What they did that I question is LOGGED into her personal account (this isn't even an agent line) and looked up who she was text messaging (while in a remote location and of course, without her permission or knowledge). As employees, we can't pull up a customer's account without their permission, how can they be allowed to pull hers up? That has to be illegal, that is my main question...is that illegal? Another thing they did that I don't believe they can do was they told her that she can't bring her cell phone IN THE BUILDING anymore when all other employees are encouraged to use their phones (if they're ATT, which hers is) to demonstrate to customers. How can they tell ONLY HER that she's not allowed to bring in anywhere on their property? Thanks for the answers!
Do you suffer from breed stereotypes? I have an American Staffordshire Terrier. Because we had two tiny kids when we decided to get a puppy we went through an AKC registered show breeder, champion parents that also have CGC and ATT. Anyway, I've taken my dog out with me to pretty much any location that does not say "No Pets" on the front door, including our local movie store. Walking through the door the employees didn't even realize I HAD a dog with me until we got to the counter and they saw him - in the meantime a Poodle mix (labrador/poodle, I can't justify calling it a labradoodle) was standing on the end of his owners leash barking. My dog just stood there and looked at him. Somehow everyone was shocked at how well behaved my dog is? I understand that there are stereotypes for every breed (Chis are yappy and timid, JRTs are super hyper, Pit Bulls are dangerous, etc) but it still catches me by surprise when I am confronted with the stereotypes while my dog is going against it. What kind of comments/situations have you found yourself receiving when you take your dog out? This is regardless of size or breed. Thanks! I read a story once that a woman got screamed at for bringing her pit bull in public, it was dangerous, etc. The dog in question was sitting quietly beside her. It was a retired Greyhound that happened to have a brindle coat. Haha. My Amstaff is tripping over himself to meet anyone who comes in our yard and will do a sit stay/down stay without being asked in an attempt to be petted. Our Golden will be growling at the same people. They veer away from the Amstaff puppy and try to pet the Golden!
Collections.... Phone company? Okay my husband and I had our phone service through Att mobility . We paid our monthly bill every month and always on time. Well I was going through our company bank statements and found charges... that would say something like this........ Debit card purchase at 000000000000000 ATM, TX. I didn't know what they was for and we went to the bank and stopped transaction on them. Well yesterday we go to pay the phone bill and it says we owe 887.00 for past due bills well come to find out those charges that showed up on the bank statement like that was from At&T !!! But every other month it showed up At&T mobility at the location like a normal thing would!!! So what do I do. They said that if we didnt pay they 697 yesterday they was shutting off the phones and the bill is not due till the 23 of October. Do I need to contact a Lawyer about this or is it our fault. But every month besides 3 showed up at&t. There are two stores we pay it at and the lady from at&t yesterday said if it is a authorized dealer that it will show up like that. But the building says At&t just like every other store. I mean how was we seriously supposed to know. Someone please tell me do I need to contact a lawyer and if so what kind of lawyer Can I really sue them for that? What type of lawyer would I call?
How good is CricKet--the cell phone company? I'm thinking of getting a cell phone and although I don't feel like I'm going to go crazy on calling and texting, I feel like being $10 or so cheaper for ATT or something for extremely limited individual plans isn't worth it. So, I found Cricket and absolutely love how they don't have contracts, decent phones, and amazing prices and plans. I have my eye on the $40 a month for unlimited everything. Now, after getting the background information of my situation, I don't want to just head to Oregon to activate the phone in the store since that's the only way (I live in Gig Harbor, Washington). So instead, I'm going to ask and make sure it's worth it. My overall question is: How good is Cricket in/around my location? It says they service my area just fine but so does every other cellphone provider and I hear dropped calls and no signal rants all the time from those big companies... Thanks for any feedback. I've done a decent amount of research to find answers, but Cricket is still pretty sheltered--not many people know of it's potential greatness--I can't find reviews on it.
