Greyhound Bus Station Location Knowledge Base

Is there one main greyhound bus station in Philadelphia? I've just purchased a ticket online for a ride from Philly to Minneapolis and as an outsider, am a little unsure as to exactly where in Philly this bus would depart. There are 3 or 4 different Philadelphia greyhound locations listed on their site. Any ideas? Thanks

What is the address to the Greyhound bus station in Pittsburgh and what is it nearby this station? While doing a search, I've seen 55 11th St, 909 2nd Ave and then one in Monroeville. The pictures on Google Maps does not give these locations any justice.
Old addresses for Walter Heller & Associates & Greyhound Bus station? Does anyone know the street addresses for either Walter Heller & Associates or the old Greyhound Bus terminal, from back in the 1960s? I believe both businesses moved to other locations in the '70s. Thanks much. jakechristian: you're a doll for trying so hard to help me -- thank you!
Questions about taking a Greyhound bus to Macon from Atlanta? Okay, so here's the deal. I live in Decatur/Atlanta. I have an internet friend that lives in Macon, and we've become pretty close over the time and want to schedule a meeting to see if we get along as well in person as on the phone and through internet chatting. I don't have a car right now. Living in the city, I basically take MARTA to work. It helps me save a lot of money, and I don't mind it for the time being. However, obviously MARTA doesn't go anywhere near Macon, GA. She hates the big city and basically freaks out and won't drive here. I looked up Amtrac...they don't go down there (and I know that's more for long distances, anyway). The only thing that goes to Macon is a Greyhound bus. I've done a little research online through Greyhound's website - it's bout 90 miles and an hour and a half trip according to their site. Looks like it's about $50 bucks for a round trip ticket to Macon and back, if I'm reading everything correctly. Theoretically, I'd catch one of their buses around roughly 9a.m. and get to Macon around 10:30 or a little after. She has a car and wants to pick me up from there, and we're gonna go here and there and spend a while together. Again, theoretically about 3-5 hours or so, and I'd probably get my bus by 3pm at the latest. Can she just drive up to the Greyhound station in Macon and pick me up without any issues? Or is there a certain area where I'd have to go for her to pick me up? A couple of other questions...I see the options of "will call" and "ticket by mail." Exactly what is the "will call" option? I'm kind of iffy about getting a ticket mailed to the address that I live at now, because I'm sharing it with a couple of family members for the time being...and they are too freaking nosey. But on the other hand, I don't exactly...want to get down there and eff up and not be able to get back. Can you buy tickets at the bus stations themselves, or does it have to be ordered online or via phone and sent to you by mail or picked up at a certain location? Just in case I somehow missed my return trip bus (duh...hopefully not) and needed to buy a ticket back or something. Possible to do? Nope, she's cool with the bus thing. And no, don't have a driver's license yet.
Getting from ORLANDO greyhound to the Magic Kingdom? Anyone have any good suggestions? Is there a good economical way to get from the Orlando Greyhound bus station TO a resort in the Magic Kingdom? I cannot find any reasonable info on shuttles from the two locations and taxi's are $41.75 plus tip which is outrageous for a short drive like that? Any experienced peeps who know the ins and outs?
What is Toronto Greyhound Station Like???? Just curious. I am travelling there for a day soon and my return bus doesn't leave until later at night, so I need some reassurance it's not scary and crime-filled and such. Google images gives me nothing! I've never travelled by bus before, only by train so I know union station but not the Bay street location of the Greyhound terminal.
Late night Greyhound bus... How to pick up tickets, get on the bus, etc? My bus leaves at 9:30 at night, and the station is open from 10-2 or so. So, I have to go to the station at some point and get the tickets before hand, during their hours? Right? And when I bought the ticket online, the website said "In cases where the departure location is not open, the driver may transport the passenger to the next open station to issue the ticket." What does that MEAN? Anything else I should know? I'm 18 and female, but I'm travelling with a male companion. Who is tall and large. I've heard there can be scary people.
please help answer all these questions about traveling by Greyhound, I would greatly appreciate it, .? Does anyone know any Greyhound Bus Terminals/locations in Toronto? I'm going to Manhattan, New York with a friend and I'm looking for a cheaper way then the plane. Driving is out so Greyhound is the next best option. Where are terminals located for us to board the greyhound in Toronto? Does Yorkdale Mall, or Pearson Airport have a greyhound terminal that goes to New York? What is the best stop to get off at when I get into New York? JFK Airport, Penn Station, or Port Authority? We're staying at the Comfort Inn 305 West 39th Street (south), NY 10018 Also when we get there what type of transportation would get us to our hotel from bus terminal in the shortest (cheapest) amount of time? As well as from our hotel back to the bus terminal when it's time to leave NY? And when purchasing a Bus ticket for Round Trip does it tell you where to catch your greyhound for returning back to Canada ?

Sanford Airport -- to -- Sanford Greyhound Station Clearwater Greyhound Station -- to -- Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater Orlando Greyhound Station -- to -- Disney Pop Century Resort Disney pop Century Resort -- to -- Sanford Airport As you might have guessed, a hire car is not an option. What is the simplest way to reach the Appalachian Trail from Atlantic City, NJ for a backpacker? Wondering what the best way is. I don't care where exactly on the trail I intersect, anywhere from Delaware Water Gap, PA to upstate New York is fine. I know there's a bus terminal in Stroudsburg, PA/Delaware Water Gap, PA but the greyhound site is not very clear on its exact location and I'd like to know where I'm going to end up. I don't want to walk more than a mile or two before reaching a trail, not necessarily the AT but a forest of some kind. no long road walks for me. I also know there's a train stop on the metro north line from Grand Central Station, NY that stops along the trail near Pawling, NY but how would I get from Penn Station, where I would enter NYC, to Grand Central with a huge backpack? basically, I'm looking for intersections between public transport and the trail anywhere between DWG, PA and New York. NJ Transit is fine. wordy, I know, but thanks in advance.
What should I use to go to Gainesville for my college orientation? I got accepted to University of Florida, I live in Miami and my orientation is May 18 and 19. I will be going there May 17 though and I have not been able to find a freaking flight that can take me there those days. My orientation starts may 18 at 8:00 am. I want to be there the day before to be able to rest and not rush. It ends May 19 after 5:00 pm. I was thinking about going on the greyhound bus but it takes 10 hours to drive there and back. I was like O.o whoa! And then I don't know if the greyhound has a location where it leaves me exactly at the university or where the orientation will be taking place. I am going to be staying at the broward hall when I get there which is a few .5 miles away from where the orientation will start taking place, kinda like a good 15 min walk maybe. I could call them and ask them but since I LOVE yahoo answers so much, I am giving my question to you guys. So basically, should I use the greyhound bus? and if I do, is there a location of a greyhound bus that can leave me near my orientation or at the university? and if not, are there taxis that i can take after getting off the bus around the bus station that can take me to my direct destination? and how much money does a taxi usually charge? ^-^ thanx! I want to know a good mode of transportation to getting to my orientation on the dates and times specified in the above paragraph. The greyhound bus takes 10 hours to get there to gainesville, so I wanted to get ona flight but there are no flights for those dates so I have no other option but taking the greyhound bus. My question is, are there any other busses that you guys can suggest I use, and if I do have to take the greyhound bus, are there any stations in gainesville that leave me exactly at the University, and if there any no stations that leave me exactly at the university, are there any taxis at the bus station that are available for me to take to get to the university, and how much does a taxi usually charge. If you want any further details I can post a link of the orientation pamphlet.
