Then makes the connection between The ground Zero Community center for his shot at 15 minutes of fame... Lets be more honest... if people die.. lets say "One" soldier gets sniped for this nonsense, because even though the pastor has backed down.. his idea sparked a firestorm in here and elsewhere.. and he did have his supporters.. lots of You. He technically in my book would be guilty of negligent homicide, at least as an accomplice... As shown on TV recently their supporters can force hundreds of Romainians to flea from their homes due to intimidation from right-wing gangs. Why do some people think that the BNP has the answer to the problem of mass immigration, most of which is eccomomic immigration anyway. Does anybody think that the BNP has any other policies apart from "get rid of all non-white British people" for all areas of government. And it appears Cal State Bakersfield is no exception. A heated debate about the Act on a longstanding, politically themed message board for CSUB employees has been raging, and led one participant to be asked by campus officials this week to stop circulating a petition on campus aimed at overturning the law. Shelly Eick, a budget analyst at CSUB, posted a message for employees saying she had petitions in her campus office to get a referendum on the November 2012 ballot to overturn the Act. An hour later, sociology instructor Gonzalo Santos responded that it was illegal for her to do so on campus. Then it got ugly. "May I suggest you invite your fellow raving xenophobes to meet off-hours at some convenient location not your office -- say, the John Birch Society office, or the KKK one. Paulie sends him and Jimmy to collect from an indebted Florida gambler in Tampa, and they hang him in the lion's den at a public zoo to intimidate him further after a beating fails to sway the man. Henry, Jimmy, the gambler, and most of the crew (except for Tommy) are then arrested thanks to the gambler's sister, who is a typist for the FBI. Henry makes drug deals in prison to support his family on the outside, and when he gets out, the crew commits the infamous Lufthansa Heist at John F. Kennedy International Airport. In the meantime, Henry further establishes himself in the drug trade after seeing its high value, and convinces Tommy and Jimmy to join him. why my macaw has this behaviour? hi all i placed the cage for my macaw near by window. first 2 weeks he was fine,happy, playing with his toys..etc then i noticed he was starting to look out of window very often. and he stoped playing with his toys.(im rotating toys very often so he does not get bored). in the past 5-6 days sometimes (usually in afternoon) when i enter in his room he will start flapping whis wings until he get tired.If i leave the room he will stop. he will do that only when is on the top of his cage,if i move him somewhere else he will stop. today he tryind to fly trough the (closed) window and fortunately he was not hurt. Im trying to understand what is going on! He is almost always out of cage,have all toys and food,i take him very often with me when i go around the house and he loves it! just i dont understand why he reacts in this way lately,i feel like he wants to go out of that window,should i move his cage to different location? he is 9 month old and 2 months with me. thanx

He is not mad; rather, I am his favorite student. “Where are we going today?” “You’ll see, now go saddle your mare” “Okay” I saddled blossom, an easy task. Blossom was a snow-white Arabian mare. She was a frisky horse, though she was suited to the task that a princess’s horse required. Master Robington led the way, a strange path it was. “Where are we going,” I asked. “To the village,” came the gruff reply, “To the leather worker.” His tone sounded like he didn’t want a reply, so I didn’t ask why. The village was not really a village; it was really a city, a medium sized city in a prime location, right near the palace was. We call it a village because, compared to the thriving metropolis’s of Iluthridad, it was a village. As we rode down Marigold’s Path, I could hear the faint sound of the city. Who like to hear scary stories? Harrison Cemetery - People who visit this place always have the feeling of being followed or being watched. This places if located right behind Harrison High School . It is ok to visit too. The gravestones are very old and been know to move to different locations. Crying and moaning can be heard on some nights. Beware some of the ghost are known to touch and throw objects. Pythian Home - It is an old Nursing Home where many of the people who lived there died. There are many things that happen in there from lights turning on unexpectedly, to hearing footsteps, and even feeling something brush up against you. One of the stories are, there was a murder in on of the bathrooms. When the body was taken out, three women went in and cleaned it up. One of the women new the girl that was murdered and she went back to pay her respects. When she walked into the room, she found exactly as it was before they started cleaning. Now around the time of the anniversary of the girl's murder, all the gore returns. There still is no use cleaning it up. It still comes back. Bishop Noll Institute - On the second floor, in the A-wing you can hear footsteps and people talking with the whole floor being empty. In the lab rooms, chairs would fall off desks without being pushed. There are 3 know deaths in the school. One in front of the Library where a single stop will be constantly cold. Second, a freshman drowned in the pool, which is no longer used and closed off, which you can hear laughter from. And third, in the second floor A-wing, a janitor hung himself. Gavit High School - Every night at about midnight . It is said to be people walking around the roof and if you shut the windows the night before some of the windows will be open. If you are inside you can hear metal clinking together and muffled screams, along with orbs and figures walking. Although some have never seen anything at all and believe that the school is not haunted. Haunted House - This house is located at 36 Detroit St. between the Illinois state line and Hohman Ave. But not only is the house haunted, the whole block has strange things happen. Things such as cold spots, things touching you, objects being moved or even thrown at you, voices, footsteps, sightings of a doppelganger, and when your in the house you get the feeling that someone is watching even though no one else is around. Jayme House - There are two bedrooms upstairs. The bedroom to the left..... if you shut the cubby hole door at night when you wake up the door is open , if you put something in front of the door it is still open in the morning. The bedroom to the right...... glowing eyes, noises, over powering smells... all in the cubby hole. At around mid-night if you sit quietly you can hear foot steps, sometimes running, laughing, and playing of small children. Stairwell leading to the upstairs bedrooms is also haunted. A little girl @ 8 years old. Likes to play. Sightings all over the house. A large number of happenings. Witness' by the numbers. Objects disappearing /reappearing, moving, chairs coming out from under you while you are sitting in them. People being lifted of the ground. Things touching you. Indianapolis Cathedral High School (Fomer sight of Ladywood High School ) - When the Cathedral High School campus was the campus of Ladywood, a private boarding school in Indianapolis . Ladywood was entirely run by the Sisters of Providence, a group of nuns devoted to a Catholic education. There is a building on campus, Loretto Hall, the former main building of Ladywood, classes were held on the first floor, physical education in the basement, with student dorms on the second floor, and nun dorms in the attic. It has been reported many times that at night, after what would be "lights out" for the girls that you can hear and sometimes see a sister walking down the halls in the second floor and candles burning in the attic. Old Central State Hospital/Asylum - Several reports from night watchmen of noises, screams of "patients", and mysterious "people" seen and then disappeared. Tours available. Some of the older buildings gone, but some remaining. Huge grounds. Medical Museum on site also reported haunted as it once was the hospital's morgue. Guarded minimally at night. Entrance is on Warman Ave. right off of West Washington . Decatur Central High School - The incident occurred in October of 1979. A car driven by a drunk driver crashed into the school auditorium killing one of the five girls in the vehicle. Strangely enough, the school's electricity would not work for several weeks after and the entire school smelled like burnt rubber. Every year, around the time of accident, the electricity still goes out and burnt rubber is smelt. Some people have even reported seeing a young female ghost walking up and down the stairs crying. Downtown - St. Joseph 's Old Abandoned Catholic Church - Reports of seeing blood on witnesses 92 hands, hearing a loud bang in the middl freddyo2u interestingly enough I was married for 28 years and wonder the same thing about that demoness!

Would the difference in our writing styles be distracting? My four friend's and I are writing a story. We are telling them from five different girl's pov. I want to know if the huge differences in our writing styles would take away from the story. Here are samples from me and three others. Me: "That," I pointed to the sky. There were long, thin streaks indicating something had passed through. "Long ranged missals," I said. "Do you suspect Jaylan?" Lizzy asked. "No, I think Bob Beyonce sent them. Of course I suspect Jaylan!" I told her sarcastically. "When Grace returns we have to tell them," Amy noted. "I bet they already know." "Should we warn everyone?" she asked. "No. I do not want to worry them. Just tell them to be careful and to watch out," I said. "Okay," Liz responded as she bounded away. "He wants us," Amy started, "With you he could destroy the rebels and would most likely make you queen. With me, he could easily have any enemy killed with a thought. Allie, with her shifting, would be a great addition to his guard. As would Grace and Lizzy." "Yes, I worry. Hopefully those missiles weren't for us," I agreed. I thought for a moment. "Where'd they go off to today?" I asked. "Some city in Australia; Sydney, I think. They are on some mission to talk to Cockroach and the other leaders of the rebellion. "Huh. It's pretty hard to believe all this," I gestured to the sky, "is our fault. I never thought that we would fail at stopping him." "It's not our fault. The rest of the world should-," Suddenly, there was a rustling in the bushes. I turned around and drew my bow. Lizzy: I stared through the cool, clear water, contemplating the problem and attempting to figure out a solution. So far, that attempt was failing. I sat there on the algae covered rock and sighed. How did I sigh underwater? I have no idea, but somehow, I did. The bottom of the river, which was usually calming, did not help. It only reminded me of my past. Life was so easy back then. I did nothing but play with my siblings and fly around below the water. Now I was battling evil, leading an entire army of girls, and struggling with my own thoughts, and I wasn't even 13 yet. At least i don't have to go to school, I thought miserably. Then again, this was worse. I needed some time to think about what was happening, and beneath the waves of the White River was the perfect location, which of course, Jaylan now knew. I raked my brain, trying to thing of anything we could do to get that chip out of Grace's wings. The only person who could get it out was the person who got it in; one of the Enclade, Jaylan's evil army. Then it hit me-the rebel spies! There were some people who pretended to be on Jaylan's side in order to get information, the same information that could get the chip out! Amy:"Runa!" I cried, running to her side. "Runa, wake up. Don't die. Runa..." I closed my eyes and buried my face in her feathers. "Runa..." I sobbed. I couldn't believe this. Runa, strong, brave Runa, was dead. We'd just lost our best warrior, an excellent mediator, the head of defense for the Amazons... and one of my best friends in the world. I remembered the day she arrived from the south, eager to do anything that would overthrow Jaylan, who had killed her family. I remembered when me and Lizzy had had an argument-I couldn't even remember what it was now, it seemed so stupid- and Runa had intervened, finally getting us to calm down and talk it out. I remembered when I'd gotten severely injured in my wing during a skirmish with some dragons near Chile, and Runa had flown me back to the base on her back for healing. And I remembered two days ago, when she'd insisted on going alone to the vampire fortress, not wanting any of us to get hurt and sure that she could handle it. "Now look, Runa," I whispered. "You're dead. I hope you're happy. And all you got was a stupid... scroll..." I glanced at the scroll, but I couldn’t see it clearly through the haze of tears. I kicked it away angrily and got up. I looked around. "I'm going to my tent." I gulped sown a sob. "Cremate her without me. I don't... I don't want to see it happen." I ran toward the tent at the far end of the clearing. Grace:I sunk down underneath the cool shade of some type of large, leafy tree. Closing my eyes, I tried to think about pleasant things, like cheesecake night at the Amazons mess hall, and my favorite cat in the whole world, Felix. Oh, Felix. He was probably sleeping in a patch of sun in my room, wondering where I had gone. Then I remembered something unpleasant. My leg. The day before, running from the alligator, I had torn open some skin on my leg right under my knee, resulting in about maybe a seven or eight in some of Grace's part didn't make it so here's the rest: inch long slash that hurt like a migraine. That wasn't in my head. And it was already getting infected, which made it kind of hard to run away from things without limping. Yeah, that and the fact that every time I moved the cut reopened and blood started seeping out everywhere, was kind of worrying. What would happen if I lost too much blood, or it got really badly infected and swollen and stuff, and I couldn't do anything? Almost every scenario I could think of ended in me dying. I sighed and leaned my head back against the rough tree bark. I would just have to wait, hang on and hope that my best friends in the entire world would sort things out. So was the difference distracting?

He didn’t notice as it glided coyly down to his neck, hanging there as a small bead of water. The man restlessly paced back and forth, muttering inaudibly to himself. The quiet calm of the night did nothing to heal his affliction of anxiety. Occasionally, he would stop to glower at the dark expanse above him. The look was menacing, yet there was apprehension in his eyes. He fiercely wished that he wasn’t under the open sky, where he felt so exposed and vulnerable. He resumed his agitated walk, the hems of his black trousers slinging in the mud. He was bare-chested and without shoes, but showed no signs of being cold as he impatiently scanned the sky again. His obsidian hair fell down to his ears, and his sharp eyes were the color of sapphire jewels. The man wrung his hands fitfully, and his eyes swept the hill for signs of movement. He was unsettled by the stone buildings that stood towering and erect, casting dark shadows that made for easy hiding places. Suddenly, there was the sound of fluttering wings behind him. The black-haired man quickly spun around, and relaxed when he recognized the other man striding toward him. This man had golden hair flecked with brown and piercing green eyes. His expression was somber as he stopped a few yards away. He wore a plain, white tunic with two long slits in the back, and clothing his legs were soft, white trousers. A silver chain hung from his neck, the pendant winking silver in the moonlight. “Ezekiel, brother. I wish I could say it is good to see you.” His voice was grave, and he spoke in a language that only the ancients of the world could understand. “Michael.” The man called Ezekiel inclined his head in respect. “You should not have come. You know the risk.” “I do,” Michael agreed. “But you are in dire need of my aid.” Ezekiel scowled, but Michael held up a hand. “Do not let your pride get in the way now, brother. You have lost too much already.” The fire faded from his eyes, and Ezekiel sighed. “You are right. Why did you call me here, Michael?” Michael’s eyes flashed dangerously. “You have disobeyed. It is only a matter of time before Father begins to gather the archangels and send them to rid of the filthy Nephilim and imprison you and the rest of the fallen in Perdition. You cannot hide from them without help.” “Then you are here to help me?” Ezekiel inquired, unfazed by his words. “Yes,” Michael said, and drew the silver chain from around his neck. He tossed it to the man in front of him, who automatically caught it in his palm. Ezekiel studied the pendant that hung from the links of silver. It was a shining depiction of a wooden cross, lines etched into the metal to show texture. A single, detailed serpent was coiled around it, the head snaked around the top of the cross. Every scale was clear and defined. The eyes were two miniscule rubies and seemed to be watching him. The man snorted. “Do not fool me, Michael. This is a caduceus. It represents health and prosperity, does it not?” “It is not a caduceus.” Michael said severely, his eyes narrowing. “You know as well as I do that the serpent is a symbol of deceit and lies. This necklace has been cursed to favor evil, and it will hide your location from all angels.” Ezekiel raised his eyes from the pendant to the man who gave it to him. “Does that include you?” “It does.” “Very well.” Ezekiel slipped the necklace over his head so the serpent hung just below his sternum. “There is one other thing you should know.” Michael said, his voice a warning. “What is it?” Ezekiel asked impatiently. Now that he had an advantage, he wanted to be as far away as possible from a potential enemy. “The archangels are not the only ones who will want you imprisoned in Perdition.” The words sent cold chills down Ezekiel’s back, but he was smart enough to keep a neutral expression. “Who else, then?” he demanded. “The prisoners themselves. It will not take them long to grasp the fact that their dear brother is not with them. They will know you somehow managed to elude punishment, while they did not. Their fury will be the foundations of nightmares. It is not impossible for them to escape, Ezekiel. Be careful.” Ezekiel laughed sardonically. “I am anything but careful, Michael. How do you think I got here in the first place? I’ll be prepared for their tricks, however. I remember them better than they will realize.” “Then remember this, brother.” Michael’s voice had suddenly gone cold. “I did not come here out of our friendship. I came here because I expect you to return the favor. Not now, but someday, I will collect.” The fallen angel chuckled. “I do not doubt it, brother. Goodbye.” He arrogantly turned his back on Michael, and walked away into the obscurity of the night. Yes, this is a fallen angel/romance book, and yes, I know that there is a million and one books about this type of thing. But this is a book for my own entertainment, I'm not hoping for a publishing or anything. I just would like to know if I am any good! Thanks.

Preface She had to escape. Cassidy Queens had always been that kind of girl who wouldn’t flinch at the sight of any danger, but she had never realized it would soon be her life at stake. As Cassidy dashed into the dark forest, she listened for any indication that they had decided to follow her. Absolute silence—but that somehow frightened her more. What an idiot she had been to trust them. What an idiot she had been to think that anyone could love her. Cassidy tripped in the fogged forest, plummeting to the moist earth. As she scrambled to her feet, Cassidy found herself surrounded. They had found her. Cassidy hesitantly looked up, realizing that the next seconds would be her last. As the fog moved west, she found herself alone. Though, now, there were footsteps. She could not identify their location, but she was sure of one thing: they were here. She ran, desperate to find security somewhere. It was pointless. Wherever Cassidy escaped to would only put more people at risk. Yet, she couldn’t stop running. A figure moved in the dark and some playful laughter abruptly broke the silence. Cassidy halted, looking around warily. It was noiseless for a few minutes, making Cassidy’s heart beat faster than ever. She didn’t let her guard down until she began jogging once more. “Oh, Miss Queens,” a male voice echoed. Cassidy fell as she brutally turned on her heels. Covered in mud, she looked up into the night. The fog had moved away, revealing a flawless moon. Mesmerized, she stared at its beauty. She made the mistake of forgetting her problems for a few moments. “Oh, Miss Queens,” the same male voice echoed. “You haven’t come to play,” a female voice followed. Cassidy’s face blanched and her heartbeat matched that of a hummingbird’s wings. “Oh, Miss Queens,” whispered the voices in unison. Cassidy slowly stood up, careful to not make too much noise in case they were still searching for her. “You’ve been a naughty child. Come out and play.” Abruptly, it was all silent. But Cassidy had learned that that could only make situations worse. Breathing heavily, she scanned the area. There was nothing. Finally, she turned around, only to hit a tree. She stumbled and realized: that isn’t a tree. Wide-eyed, her head snapped up. One icy blue eye stared her down. “You’ve been a naughty child, my dear,” the male figure said. “Naughty children must be punished,” said a female voice from behind Cassidy. Cassidy twisted in the girl’s direction, only to be struck with excruciating pain. How is my story going so far? Please, I need reviews? :)? Its about a fairy who gets adopted by humans and has to hide her magical powers: A typical day in my fairy house involved me delivering the pixey newspaper, coming home, and working on turning my homework into a frog. My parents were delighted at how fast my magic was excelling even though I was merely six years old. They were always pleased when I transformed an ordinary object into something magical, even if it did turn into an enormous ravenous bear. They constantly showered me with hugs or patted me on the back and said “Great job, Alyssa.” I remember having a massive grin on my face whenever my parents were proud of me. But one day, it all drastically altered. Our fairy chief decided it was time to move Pixeyville to somewhere safe because one solitary fairy almost gave away our hiding spot. This involved the millions of fairies to pack up their valuables and fly for hours and hours to our new location. Of course, when there’s chaos, there’s always Trolls . I remember we were flying down an alley to cross into Goblin Drive when we heard faint footsteps behind us, coming closer and closer every second. My parents looked back and I remember they started tugging on my hand and we started to progress quicker down the alley. They kept telling me not to look back and keep my eyes on the road straight ahead. The footsteps approached quicker and it sounded like the followers were coming closer. Before I knew it, my dad let go of my hand and flew backward to the trolls. Trolls are these horrendous creatures that go on killing sprees when there is chaos around Pixeyville, usually when it’s moving time. They wear black pants up to there waist and a red shirt with a big white ‘T’ printed on the front. They wear tall pointed black and red hats that are probably bigger then there whole body. I remember looking back and saw the trolls pushing my father down the alley and into a door. I started screaming frantically while looking at my frightened mom. “It’s okay Alyssa, just keep moving.” We started flying forward as fast as we could and I could hear my mothers strenuous breathing. Again, I heard the trolls come out of the door and start following me and my mother. My breathing quickened rapidly as me and my mother, hand in hand, tried to make it to Goblin Drive. I wanted to be in an open road with witnesses and open air, not in a stuffy ally. I heard the troll snicker behind me before it grabbed my mother by the wings and pulled her to the back of the ally. I turned around and started screaming. “No, give me my mother back! Give her back you Trolls!” I yelled as loud as I could as I ran toward them. The troll headed for the door with my mom’s wings gripped in his hard fists. I saw my mom mouth ‘I love you’ before the troll took her inside. The troll that took my father came outside, probably to capture me also. But before he could get to me, I heard the policaries car siren approaching and it stopped a few feet behind me. The troll’s eyes widen and he started backing up toward the building. The policaries quickly grabbed the troll, handcuffed him, and pushed him in the car. As for my mother, she was already in the same building as my dad. I told the policaries that my parents were in the building and they rushed inside with there bats and guns. I stood outside anxiously waiting. I felt a bead of sweat drip down from my forehead onto my shoulder. I started pacing up and down the alley while thinking of all the possibilities. I flinched, and stopped thinking altogether. Finally, the policaries came out with about five trolls in handcuffs but I saw no sign of my mom and dad. I ran to the nearest cop and demanded where my parents were. At first, the officer just stared at me with a sadden expression, but then he started to talk. “I’m very sorry but we couldn’t get to your parents in time.” Was all he said… and walked away. I leaned against the brick wall and fell down on the ground with my hand in my face. I remember sobbing and weeping and actually falling asleep in the alley due to exhaustion.

How does my novel seem so far? Let me begin by saying this. I need criticism and some supportive comments. I will use a brief part of my novel. The main character is in 1st person, and is viewing the world in his own eyes. I placed the white earring on my right ear. I recoiled at the intense pain near my shoulder blades, a horrible splitting sensation. I hadn't done this before, and I wasn't prepared for the pain. I tried to get up off of the marble floor, but my knees gave out on me. I nearly lost consciousness due to the mind-numbing sensation of my back. Before I slipped into the black, the pain stopped. I slowly stood up, and was nearly pulled back down. I looked behind me, and I had grown a set of white wings. The feathers were ornate, and were stiff. I put my arm back, and touched one. The feeling was the opposite of what I expected. It felt like leather, and was heavy. I steadied myself, and headed out the door, recalling the discussion from earlier. "You seem to have been chosen by Serena, the god of light. This is seemingly rare, I do say. The fact that you are a mere mortal is surprising enough, but for her to give you her earring? You must be quite special", remarked the wise, old man. "Don't tell me things I already know. Tell me what will happen when I put this earring on." I demanded, ignoring his flattering. He yawned. "All right, hold ya' horses. Let's see... Aha! Here it is." He pulled a book from the dusty shelf nearby. He began flipping through the pages. He stopped on one and look at me. He then continued. "It seems that you will obtain a great Armyn, but in return, will lose something dear to you." "Sheesh, this again. What exactly is an Armyn?" I sat down, holding the earring in the palm of my hand. He sat down opposite to me. "It isn't much, just the power of the God/Goddess who gave you that earring. In your case, Light." He got up and shut the book, and returned it to it's previous location. He then checked his watch and nearly yelped. "Damn! I'm late! I will see you again one day, if fate permits it." He snapped his fingers and vanished. I came out of my thoughts, still throbbing from the change previously. I opened the dilapidated front door, and headed back out into the world. This is a sample of what I wrote. My girlfriends parents are crazy, help!? Here is the deal, my girlfriend and I are both very free spirited people, we cannot be tamed and we love to run wild, except together. Anyhow, we are both sixteen and Sophomores in high school. We go to different high schools but live half a mile from each other. Her parents are very religious; they belong to the right wing evangelical side of the Christian faith. My girlfriend is basically the black sheep in her family because she wears makeup, she wears clothing that shows she is a woman (She doesn’t really wear revealing clothing though), she cares about how she looks and she has a social life. She has six siblings. She has two older siblings, one is twenty the other is seventeen and four younger siblings (Three, seven, twelve and nine) Anyhow, everyone in her family except her and her older brother (He is seventeen) are “Good little Christian children” and their parents talk about how my girlfriend is a screw up and how her younger siblings will wrong her mistakes as a child, but they do not treat her older brother like this. These are direct quotes from her parents: “Well it is just nice to know she is not doing drugs.” (Uncaringly and serious) “She is the spawn of Satan!” (Seriously) “Your little sisters will be the little girls we always wanted but never got, minus your older sister.” (You get my point) So here is the problem: Her parents think she is not part of the family anymore because of all the time she spends with her friends and I away from her family, and in the process she is developing into an independent free thinker. It is blatantly obvious this is a religious issue, and I do not know what to do, however, I do know this is going to backfire on her parents horribly. You cannot restrain a free spirited person, the more you tie them down the more they kick and scream, then they will really start doing crazy things. If her parents control her every opportunity she gets she is going to go out and do something incredibly dumb (Drugs, alcohol, cheat on me) I am not saying this because she said she will, I know she will. She will do all those things because they would be “Breaking the rules.” And it would help her cope with the extra extreme control her parents have over her due to the new set of imposed rules. Doing drugs and drinking would be breaking their rules. Cheating on me would be breaking relationship rules. Get the idea? Also, I know how this will go, because I am EXACTLY like her and my parents tried to do the same thing to me last year before I met my girlfriend and it backfired in this same exact way. She has also told her best friend and I we are the reason she doesn’t go off the wall and keeps sane as it is, and her best friend is as concerned as I am, without us to keep her inline and these new rules, and the fact I get to see her little as it is because of the school set up is going to put serious strain on the relationship. Wild pigeon: ill or injured ? No, I haven't actually caught the bird, nor do I intend to. If I wasn't living in a college dorm, I would follow the guidelines of some pigeon rescue and rehabilitation groups. Anyway, I just need advise, and am wondering if there is anything that can be done, or someone who can be called.I live in Milwaukee, and by one of the places I regular, there is a pigeon is obviously ill. From what I've observed, watching from a distance, it cannot fly. When it walks around, it often stumbles and is very shakey. It wobbles its head from side to side. Often it just stops, leans back on its rump, and sits there with a fluffed up chest, head wobbling. Not normal at all. The tail feathers are somewhat frayed, but not terribly so. Wings are held close to the body. I know pigeons are considered pests, and nature should probably take its course. But can someone like animal control be contacted, or should I get in contact with a pro-pigeon group? This bird is at a location where an old lady feeds it (and other pigeons) every morning, but there is no water in the area that I know of, other than some leftover puddles from rain. The bird was first observed on Saturday, and I saw it this morning, same small area, still wobbling and stumbling... Wow ?, that does not sound good at all :( I did find a number for someone in Milwaukee on the Pigeon Talk forum, and I plan to give her a call. I am going to go see if the pigeon is still in the same location before I do. Hopefully no student or street person does something horrible to it while it is vulnerable, thankfully none have yet.

She has two older siblings, one is twenty the other is seventeen and four younger siblings (Three, seven, twelve and nine) Anyhow, everyone in her family except her and her older brother (He is seventeen) are “Good little Christian children” and their parents talk about how my girlfriend is a screw up and how her younger siblings will wrong her mistakes as a child, but they do not treat her older brother like this. In the welter of events following the bombing of the World Trade Center in Feb. 26, 1993, few noticed that the first man arrested, Mohammed Salameh—the poor, unemployed illegal immigrant— offered $5 million for bail. Where could he get this kind of money? The judge refused bail. But was the source of Salameh's offer the same as the one that funded the eight men—arrested shortly afterward—who planned to blow up Manhattan's tunnels and bridges and to assassinate public officials? Were the same money sources behind the final attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11? ... For a long time, there has been evidence that terrorist, international drug trafficking and criminal organizations use the same fund-raising methods to enrich themselves. Yet no one seemed to connect the dots. And no one seriously tried to crack down on their financing. Bin Laden's is only one among many hostile international criminal organizations, often state-sponsored, that will do whatever they can to diminish the status of the United States as the only superpower. According to a State Department report, the Taliban, who are at bin Laden's service, has the advantage of controlling the world's largest heroin production and distribution in the world. Since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the heroin production soared to hundreds of tons each year. In 1999 alone, the world production of heroin was estimated at 500 metric tons; 400 were produced by the Taliban and available to fund bin Laden and his associates worldwide. First warning The writing was on the wall on July 5, 1991, when the Bank of England shut down what was the most important Islamic bank in the world, the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). This criminal entity was created by the Pakistani Aaga Hassan Abedi "to fight the evil influence of the West"; to help with the creation of the "Islamic Bomb"; to finance all Muslim terrorist organizations; and to launder the money that was generated mostly by illicit drug trafficking and other illegal activities, including arms trafficking. When BCCI went belly up, we learned from thousands of documents that Abu Nidal—the notorious Palestinian terrorist organization that now enjoys the hospitality of Iraq's Saddam Hussein, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hezbollah and bin Laden—had accounts in the bank. By the end of the 1980s, the "special services" provided by BCCI included access to Western humanitarian and international development funds, as well as drug money laundering, secret transfers of cash and bribes. A "Black Network," a special enforcement unit supported by Abu Nidal and other terrorist organizations, operated from Pakistan. The same Pakistan that harbored bin Laden for many years while its officials told the United States that they didn't know his whereabouts. And the same Pakistan that for decades, even according to the State Department's annual report, had been a major drug trafficking and money laundering center. Western blindness Yet, now more importantly, we also discovered that the American and British governments knew and kept the bank open for a long time. The bank "that would bribe God" was able to get away with its criminal activities for decades due to Abedi's clever portrayal of the Muslim nations as victims of Western—and particularly U.S.— "imperialism." And when the bank was shuttered, the accusation in the Muslim/Arab and Third World countries was that the U.S. and the United Kingdom governments closed the bank to curtail the growing fiscal power of Muslim countries. Like Abedi, anti-American, anti-Western terrorist and radical Muslim states and organizations, such as the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO, Iraq and Iran, use Western democratic rhetoric to their advantage. But it is the willful blindness, mainly toward the growing volume of drug money laundering, exercised by Western bankers on the one hand and Western politicians on the other, that makes money laundering possible, despite the many laws and international conventions to control this phenomenon. The BCCI was the first warning to the West. The second warning about the abuse of European and American financial markets by terrorist organizations, as well as their involvement in the illicit arms and drug trade, was made in February 1994 by the British National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS). The Organized Crime Unit of the NCIS warned that Middle East terrorist groups and states were targeting the financial centers of London, Frankfurt and other Western countries, and that they favor illegal drug trafficking, money laundering and fraud.... Clinton appeasement Despite its stated policy of not negotiating with terrorists, the Clinton administration went out of its way to appease a few of the 20th century's most notorious terror groups: the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the PLO and the Irish Republican Army. All are heavily involved in the drug trade. On the eve of the 1993 handshake on the White House lawn between Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat, Britain's National Criminal Intelligence Service estimated the PLO's ill-gotten gains to total between $8 billion to $10 billion, with an annual income of about $1.5 billion to $2 billion from "donations, extortion, payoffs, illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, money laundering, fraud, etc." Since then, Washington has only aided and abetted the PLO. Since the start of the Oslo process, Arafat has received at least $3 billion more from the United States and the international community, without any serious demand for accountability, according to a report this year to Congress. Arafat, in well-documented instances, has been systematically skimming off portions of these funds, as he has with monies given to him on behalf of the refugees in the camps. The PLO was in the drug trafficking business almost from the beginning. Operating from Lebanon, under Habash's able leadership and assisted by a PLO-owned shipping company SUMUD, the organization exported hashish, opium, heroin and cocaine, first to Europe and later even to the United States and Australia. In return, it obtained weapons for their war against Israel and the West, and amassed a massive treasure trove. In addition, the PLO and Arafat, who enjoy the financial and strategic support of Hussein and bin Laden, have the distinction of being the organization that promoted "suicide bombers" as a weapon. Yet the Clinton administration subsidized a multitude of radical Palestinian groups, ranging from Arafat's Fatah branch of the PLO and its military wing, the Tanzim, to the socialist-nationalist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), headed by George Habash, all with close ties to bin Laden, Iraq and Iran. ...It was the Clinton White House that, despite evidence to the contrary, removed Syria from its list of the drug trafficking countries, to entice Syria to join the "peace process" in the Middle East. The failure of that process and the compromises the United States has made to maintain an illusion of peaceful prospects had no doubt added to the Muslim radical terrorists' resolve to attack what they see as a naive and vulnerable America. In another example of self-delusion, in 1999, then Secretary of State Madeleine Albright suggested a U.S.-led coalition to negotiate with the FARC and supported Colombia President Pastrana's "land for peace" initiative, despite a report from the General Accounting Office that the FARC is running a major international criminal enterprise that, among other things, supplies hundreds of tons of cocaine and heroin to the U.S. black market. Moussaoui's testimony on his own behalf stunned the courtroom. His account was in stark contrast to his previous statements in which he said the White House attack was to come later if the United States refused to release a radical Egyptian sheik imprisoned on earlier terrorist convictions. On Dec. 22, 2001, Reid was subdued by passengers when he attempted to detonate a bomb in his shoe aboard American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. There were 197 people on board. The plane was diverted to Boston, where it landed safely. Should Firearm understanding be an important aspect of Martial Arts education? Hi. I have a background in various aspects of martial arts within the past decade. I have had the joy and pleasure of experiencing Wing Chun, Jkd, boxing (more of a ring sport) Filipino Kali based arts, etc. My Cousin is actually a high ranking Gold Sash in the Wing Chun art and he is good at what he does. He also has significant training in Kali. However having said that, I do feel he is a bit over-confident and arrogant in his abilities. He acts as if every single situation can be solved by what he knows in Wing Chun. He has been shown certain things like knife disarms + even pistol disarms (they use the fake blue rubber guns) and now he thinks he is practically invincible. He goes to night clubs over-confident, flips people off when they piss him off on the road, and is generally very confrontational. I have asked him whether or not he has ever considered firearms training and/or at least being open minded to it. His general reply is that he can disarm a person in a few seconds and he has nothing to worry about. I will tell you that he has never EVER fired let alone handled a firearm in his life though. A blue rubber training gun is fine and dandy to learn for disarms BUT. Self Defence situations have a lot of variables and nothing is guaranteed. One thing I know that is not guaranteed is the fact that your attackers will not always give you the chance to "disarm" their weapons. A gun was invented for mid to long projectile based range. A person doesn't have to even have to be close to you. He could simply just be a couple of feet away from you. Within the last few years, I have also had the chance to be enlightened through CQB simulations training + going to the Shooting Ranges and being educated on safety/handling/basic firing, etc. With the CQB simulations training (The instructors are active Law Enforcement Officers + Ex Army) I have learned that regardless of how much a great fighter you are.. without awareness and avoidance, the chances of being a victim on the streets increase if you have a very sh*tty attitude. When I talk about awareness, I am talking about enhanced observation of corners, possible archs of fire, hiding places that an attacker could be lurking, etc. Without knowing about these things, a potential victim can be unaware and walk into such situations.. when they could have been avoided in the first place. When you learn by hard earned trial & error through training, you start to understand that you are not as an invincible "warrior" you originally thought yourself to be. And this eventually leads to the concept of avoidance. Once you are aware of potential dangers in various environments, you will find yourself doing your best to avoid certain locations, people and situations as best as you can. You would better understand that pride is not really worth it when a couple of scrawny "thug" natured guys mess with you. You understand that even though they are scrawny and probably never studied a martial art in their life before; they could easily equalize the situation against you with either a firearm or a knife. Why would they risk duking it out with a muscular and well built person like you when they could just jump you from the shadows?? Going back to firearm disarms training though.. how can you truly understand the psychological effects of what happens when a gun goes off when you have never fired or seen a real gun being used before? I feel very fortunate that I have had the opportunity to fire a real firearm at the shooting range before. It has opened up my eyes to how when a trigger is pulled, the muzzle flash shows and the intense loudness & velocity of a bullet can effectively "freeze" an un-experienced person on the streets (martial arts or no martial arts) and thus reducing their chances of surviving the encounter. Remember that hesitation has no place in a self defence situation. Mere seconds can determine the difference between life and death. You hesitate in unknown terrain and circumstances. I have also grown to understand the devestating effects a bullet can have on a person if and when hit by it. The power and velocity is not something to joke around with. Firearms should always be treated with care and respect. I really hope more martial artist out there keep and open mind and embrace firearms training as an important tool for self defence training. It is highly unlikely for one to be able to stop a bullet but, it is very possible to be aware of such life threatening situations and avoid being there as much as possible. What better way to do this than to actually understand how a firearm works and to undestand the potential dangers it can pose by learning about its functions first hand? Any Martial Artist on here also have experience with firearms training? What are your takes on this? For all those reading, please don't be like my Cousin. Do understand that no mat Please don't be like my Cousin. No matter how good of a trained fighter you are, at the end of the day you are no more invincible than the next man. Take care. Whats the purpose of even learning how to "disarm" a tool or weapon without even knowing how it operates or the what it can do?? Its like practicing how to tread water or swim on dry land without ever stepping into a pool of water. Sure you can get all the techniques and moves down but.. without getting wet how will you truly understand the potential dangers the deep end can pose if you don't know what you are doing?

Continuous observation shows that these black spots take 25 days to complete a revolution. Therefore we conclude that the Sun rotates and that it takes approximately 25 days to complete one full rotation around its axis. You tell me who could have mentioned these scientific facts in the Holy Quraan which you say was discovered recently by your scientists ? Before you answer that question, tell me......is there a difference between a star and a planet? Bob: Yes, today we know that stars are heavenly bodies like the Sun in that they produce their own light, while planets on the other hand, do not produce their own light....like the earth on which we live. Yunus: The Holy Quraan mentions scientific facts not only in the field of astronomy. Bob: I'm listening. Yunus: In several verses of the Holy Quraan the details of the water cycle is mentioned. It explains that the water from the earth and ground rises up and forms clouds .............. these clouds condense, there is lightning and rain falls from the clouds. This is evident from the following quotations ...........chapter 39, verse 21, "Have you not seen that Allah sent rain down from the sky and caused it to penetrate the ground, and come forth as springs.......", In chapter 23, verse 18, "We sent down water from the sky measure and lodged it in the ground and we certainly are able to withdraw it", and also in chapter 24, verse 43, "Have you not seen that God makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them a heap. And you see rain drops falling from the midst of it ........" Bob: According to my knowledge, the first coherent account of the water cycle was presented by Bernard Palissy in 1580. Yunus: This is the exact distinction that the Holy Quraan makes between stars and planets. In chapter 86, verse 1-3, "By the sky and the night visitor, who will tell you what the night visitor is, the star of piercing brightness", which obviously refer to the stars. Yunus: The Holy Quraan in chapter 78, verse 6-7 gives us an indication of the very same phenomenon as it says, "Have we not made the earth an expanse and the mountains stakes". Here the word "stakes" is synonymous with the word pegs as in holding the earth in place. Further the first part of this verse shows us that the earth is not flat for it is an expanse ..... meaning that you can walk and walk without falling off. The former idea is clarified in chapter 21, verse 31....."We placed the ground (mountains) standing firm so that it does not shake with them". Here we are told that mountains allow for the maintenance of the earths stability by preventing the earth's shape to change in such a way so as to cause it to move out of its orbit. Permit me to go on ........scientists pointed out recently that salt water and fresh water do not mix.......is that correct ? Bob: That is correct.....this phenomenon is observed at various locations......for example the region where the Nile river meets with the Mediterranean sea and more especially in the Gulf stream where these two bodies of water flow together for thousands of kilometres. Yunus: In chapter 25, verse 53 it reads, ....... "God is the one that has let free two seas, one is sweet and palatable and the other is salty and bitter. He placed an unseen barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to pass". A similar message is given in chapter 55, verses 19 and 20, "He has loosed the two seas. They meet together. Between them there is an unseen barrier which they do not transgress........" Bob: Maybe some Arabs whist diving or swimming made such an observation. Yunus: Unlikely, what you fail to realize is that the Holy Quraan too testifies that it is an unseen barrier and therefore it could not and still cannot be observed. Bob: I see..... according to Darwinism and the theory of evolution, it is claimed that all life began in the sea or oceans.........can you tell me what does your Quraan say about this.....if anything at all. Yunus: Yes, but first tell me just why does this theory have such a conclusion.....that life began in the Oceans.... Bob: Well, one of the reasons is that the chemical make-up or composition of human and animal life shows that water is the chief constituent. In fact between 50 and 90 %. Yunus: In chapter 21, verse 30, it also says.............."And We made every living thing from water. Will they still not believe". Can you imagine that in the deserts of Arabia, where there is obviously a scarcity of water, who would have guessed that not only man but every living thing is made from water. Bob: I am aware that Cytoplasm, the main constituent of the cell is composed of approximately eighty percent water and that every living creature is of fifty or ninety percent water. Yunus: Who could have mentioned these facts in the Quraan over 1400 years ago ?...there are over hundreds of facts in the Holy Quraan that modern science cannot find fault with today. On the topic of theories .......Can you explain to me just what is meant by the theory of drifting continents. Bob: Sure, all our continents were at one time parts of one consolidated land mass, then following an explosion, they were scattered or rather pushed away all over the surface of the earth. Therefore if you look carefully at the world map, you would see for example that the East coast of South America would fit neatly against the West coast of Africa. Yunus: A similar idea is reflected in the Holy Quraan in the chapter 79, verse 30, "and the earth He extended after that and then drew from it water and pastures". It says that the Earth passed through a stage when God had caused the land masses to drift apart. Bob: Are you using scientific knowledge to prove the Quraan ? Yunus: No, the Quraan is not a book of science but rather a book of signs. In fact, it has over 6000 signs (verses) out of which 1000 of these deal with scientific knowledge. I am not using science to prove something correct, you need a yardstick or knowledge that is absolute, something ultimate..... Yunus: To the educated men like yourself, those that do not believe in God, science is generally your yardstick.....but to the Muslim, the Holy Quraan is our ultimate yardstick....the Quraan is also referred to as the "Furqaan" which is the arabic word meaning, the criterion between that which is right and that which is wrong. Therefore I am using your yardstick 'science' to prove to you what is said in the Holy Quraan. What your yardstick has said in relatively recent times ...... mine has said 14 centuries ago. Can we agree, therefore, that the Quraan is superior to science and that the Quraan is the ultimate yardstick. Bob: Tell me more. Yunus: The Quraan says in chapter 20, verse 53, "(God is the one) who sent down rain from the sky and with it brought forth a variety of plants in pairs". Here the Holy Quraan mentions a scientific fact which was discovered much later in history ..... that is .......the plant kingdom too has male and female types. This is also echoed in chapter 13, verse 3, "...........and of all fruits (God) placed on the earth two pairs ......." Yunus: A branch of the field of Zoology has recently pointed out that there exists various social dynamics in the animal world. The Holy Quraan tells us the same, that the animals and birds live in communities in chapter 6, verse 38, "There is no animal on earth, no bird which flies on wings, that (does not belong to) communities like you .....". Yunus: If I tell you that the Holy Quraan tells us of ants talking to one another, you will probably laugh, but the branch of Zoology that I am telling you about, has found the animal or insect which closely resembles the dynamics of the human, is the ant ....... for apart from an extremely 'advanced' system of communication (as is mentioned in the Holy Quraan, chapter 27, verse 18), They ..... the ants bury the dead and can have what can be said to be an equivalent of a market place. Bob: Perhaps your Prophet _____________ was a very observant man who made notes of them. Yunus: First I would like to inform you that history years witness that the Prophet _____________ of Islam was an illiterate man in that he had no formal schooling and therefore could not read nor write. In fact at that time a great majority of Arabs were illiterate with only a negligible number who were literate. Nonetheless, it is also mentioned that it is the female bee that collects honey ........ Do you think that anybody could be so observant as to pick this up? You have just reminded me about something even more significant; in chapter 16, verse 69, it reads, "...... from their (bees) bodies comes a liquor of different colours wherein is a remedy for men." Today the medical scientist tell us that there are antiseptic qualities and applications of honey. Furthermore, I believe that it is used in the treatment of various allergies. Bob: No wonder the Russian soldiers used to apply honey on their wounds. Yes, and as a result, the wounds left very little scar tissue. Yunus: In chapter 16, verse 66, the Holy Quraan described blood circulation with regard to the production of milk in the cow ....... a thousand years before William Harvey made it famous to the western world. Let us examine the above mentioned reference, "Verily, in cattle too is a lesson for you, we give to you to drink of what is in their bodies, coming from a conjugation between the contents of the intestine and the blood, a milk, pure and pleasant for those who drink it." Bob: Tell me ...... what does the Quraan say about human beings? Yunus: This question calls for a dissertation, for the Quraan deals with humans from before the time of conception until after death. .....But will you accept a brief exposition on some of the human embryo logical data or proofs presented in the Quraan? Bob: Please go on. This is interesting. Yunus: We know that after fertilization, the egg or ovum descends from the fallopian tube to lodge itself inside the uterus for gestation. This is described in chapter 22, verse 5, ".... We cause whom we will to rest in the womb for an appointed term......". As you know, there are structures or elongations from the egg which develops to draw nourishment from the uterus which is necessary for growth. These structural formations make the egg or rather the zygote seem to be literally clinging to the uterus ....... this, doubtedly, is a scientific discovery of modern times for the western world. Did you know this appearance of clinging is described five times in the Holy Quraan. For example, in chapter 96, verses 1 & 2, "Read, in the name of your Lord who fashioned man from something which clings". Similar ideas are found in chapter 22, verse 5 - chapter 23, verse 14 and chapters 40 & 75. Furthermore, foetal growth is described in great detail in chapter 23, verse 14, with regard to the development of the skeleton. "Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; Then made that clot into a lump (foetus); then We made out of that lump Bones and clothed the bones with flesh ............" ........ the verse goes on further in this manner of description. Also with regard to the order or sequence of the senses, the Holy Quraan in chapter 32, verse 9 says, "......... He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and of sight........". Today, medical cience cannot argue with this sequence development of the senses in the foetus for it confirms that the development of hearing is completed by five months of pregnancy and that the eye is split open by the seventh month of pregnancy. These facts and more have been brought to light by the western world as late as 1940. Furthermore, Professor Keith More, an embryologist at the university of Toronto in Canada, was asked to make a comparative study of the Embryo logical data in the Holy Quraan with that of modern scientific knowledge and he responded as follows, "The 1300 year old Quraan contains messages so accurate about embryonic development that muslims can reasonably believe them to be from God." Bob: If this is true then how come it has not been recorded in the media? Yunus: But it was ....... check the archives ......for example ....... the citizen, a Canadian Newspaper dated 22 November 1984, under the heading "Ancient Holy Book 1300 years ahead of its time". Or the times of India, New Delhi ...... dated 10 December 1984 under the caption "Koran scores over modern sciences." Bob: This is really fascinating......don't stop..........continue.... Yunus: At this point I am reminded of a very powerful verse of the Holy Quraan which appears in chapter 41, verse 53, "Soon shall we show them our signs in the (furthest) regions of the earth , and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth......". Yunus: The holy Quraan even speaks about diabetics. Bob: What do you mean? Yunus: You see, certain foodstuffs are declared unfit for human consumption and are therefore prohibited. Bob: While we are on the topic of food ....... tell me why is it that a muslim is very particular about the words Halaal and Haraam ...... What do they mean? Yunus: That which is permissible is termed Halaal and that which is not permissible is termed Haraam and it is the Quraan which draws the distinction between the two. Bob: Can you give me an example ? Yunus: Yes, Islam has prohibited blood of any type. You will agree that a chemical analysis of blood shows that it contains an abundance of uric acid, a chemical substance which can be injurious to human health. Bob: You're right about the toxic nature of uric acid, in the human being it is excreted as a waste product....... in fact we are told that 98% of the bodies uric acid is extracted from the blood by the kidneys and removed through urination. Yunus: Now I think that you'll appreciate the special prescribed method of animal slaughter in Islam. Bob: What do you mean ? Yunus: You see.....the wielder of the knife, whilst taking the name of the Almighty, makes an incision through the jugular veins, leaving all other veins of the neck intact. Bob: I see.....this causes the death of the animal by a total loss of blood from the body, rather than an injury to any vital organ. Yunus: Yes, were the organs, example the heart, the liver, or the brain crippled or damaged, the animal could die immediately and its blood would congeal in its veins and would eventually permeate (spread throughout) the flesh. This implies that the animal flesh would be permeated and contaminated with uric acid and therefore very poisonous ...... only today did our dietitians realise such a thing. Bob: Again, while on the topic of food........ Why do Muslims condemn the eating of pork or ham or any foods related to pigs or swine. Yunus: Actually, apart from the Quraan prohibiting the consumption of pig flesh, ......in fact the Bible too in Leviticus chapter 11, verse 8, .....regarding swine it says, "of their flesh (of the swine) shall you not eat, and of their carcase you shall not touch; they are unclean to you." Further, did you know that a pig cannot be slaughtered at the neck for it does not have a neck ..........that is according to its natural anatomy. A Muslim reasons that if the pig was to be slaughtered and fit for human consumption the creator would have provided it with a neck. Nonetheless, ........all that aside, I am sure you are well informed about the harmful effects of the consumption of pork, in any form, be it pork chops ...... ham ...... bacon....... Bob: The medical sciences find that there is a risk for various diseases as the pig is found to be a host for many parasites and potential diseases. Yunus: Yes, even apart from that ....as we talked about uric acid content in the blood.....it is important to note that the pig's biochemistry excretes only 2% of its total uric acid content...... the remaining 98% remains as an integral part of the body. This explains the high rate of Rheumatism found in those who consume pork. Bob: Let's fasten our seatbelts ......I think we are going to land shortly .... I guess its true - time does fly when you're having fun. I've never heard these arguments before and I'd like to hear more.......just what is the basic theme of the Holy Quraan anyway ? Yunus: The basic theme is of salvation, in this life and in the life hereafter..... it does not fall into the category of any known arts or sciences of the world, but since it addresses itself to mankind, it touches on almost all the disciplines which concern Him. Thus the Quraan surprisingly encompassed truths which were to be discovered and confirmed much later as our discussion has shown. Bob: This reminds me of the wise words of Sir Francis, who said, "It is a little knowledge of science that makes you an Atheist, and it is an in-depth study of science that makes you a believer in God Almighty".
