What is the best way to transport a corn snake from the UK to Canada? My corn snake showed up after being lost for a year in my parent's back garden, in that time I have moved to Canada. I now want to get my snake transported to Canada. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Do airlines offer pet transport services, or should I go with a private company? If so, what are the details/things I should know?
What would be the best way to transport dj equipment from Canada to Ireland ? I am going from Canada to Ireland shortly and will be needing my decks and mixer once I arrive. What is the most secure and cost worthy method for me to transport them. Canada Post and UPS are too expensive. Ok you guys, you have rather gotten away with your basic knowledge of the industry. You do not sell equipment that has cost a pretty penny when in fact I have found out that they can be stored in the cargo of the plane I will be travelling on. I do hope that you research your answers and don't assume.

Desperately need to find the minimum age requirement of a transport truck driver in Ontario, Canada? I am in great need to find out how old you must be at least to be allowed to drive a transport truck in Ontario, Canada. (In 2005. If it was changed and you no longer presently know the age, that is fine as long as it was the age from 2004-2005). I searched in google and in getting a lot of conflicting answers, if anyone knows for sure please tell me, it is very important that I find out. Thank you very much to whoever can help.
How do you obtain Sodium metal in Canada or transport it across the border? I cannot find anywhere in Canada to buy pure Sodium metal. Most places on the internet list it as a restricted material. I found Sodium being sold on eBay but only in the United States. They will not ship it internationally as the Postal Service does not allow it to be sent out of the country. I can have it shipped to a friend in the United States and have them bring it back to Canada the next time they travel. Will the airlines allow Sodium to be carried on a flight or to be put in checked baggage? If not, can it just be driven across the border? Another suitable solution for me would be to find someone selling it in Canada for a reasonable price. Does anyone know if there is somewhere an ordinary person can buy Sodium in Canada? Thanks. Part of the reason why I want Sodium is because it relates to what I am studying in chemistry but my chemistry department is no longer allowed to order Sodium. I believe it is a new school board policy. So if I want to obtain Sodium, I need to do it by myself.

What licenses do you need to own and transport a gun (handgun) in Canada? I know you need a gun license non restricted for basic rifles and shotguns, and restricted for handguns. But what other licenses do you need to own both types of guns at home? Also what do you need to get any additional licenses to take any guns (rifles, shotguns, and handguns) to a gun range or just transport them in general? Also with that being said how old do you have to be in Canada to get any of these licenses? Thanks

Why get an Airline Transport Pilots License in Canada? It seems the only benefit is that you can be PIC in an aircraft that requires 2+ flight crew. Is that the only benefit? I didn't see anything in the law that would allow the operation of a larger aircraft, which I believe is the benefit in the US. I guess if you're flying a large aircraft for commercial purposes under a Canadian license, would it still be legal to fly that aircraft in the US without an Airline Transport license?
HELP! How do I transport my rabbit from Canada to the Philippines? I have figured out that Westjet will take my bunny from Toronto to Vancouver but after that I am stuck. I have contacted many airlines but most don't support transporting rabbit. Any advice is helpful please. And does anybody know any service that transport rabbits internationally? Just strictly pets? Please let me know! I need help. Thanks! I tried calling the airlines but none seem to be too eager to help me out. I don't think Filipinos appreciate rabbits as pets..
How to buy and transport cars from USA to Canada? I am not looking to purchase my first car. I live in BC Canada and have been searching local sites, newspapers and car lots, but have not been able to find nearly as good prices as cars found in the Eastern United States. I was hoping to talk to someone who had experience in this kind of business. I need to know approximately how much it costs to ship them, how much to expect to pay for duties and if there are any other fees or concerns I should be aware of. Any info helps.

Do you know a company that will transport pets when you move, within Canada? My husband and I have to move from BC to NB, and we have a medium sized dog and a cat. We'll be driving over but wanted to find a company that will transport the pets for us so they don't have to be stuck in a truck for a week. I know Westjet allows animals, but do they allow them without if you don't have a person traveling with them? Or do you know a company that will transport them?
How to transport a mountain bike from the UK to Canada? Ok basically I'm going abroad to canada for 4 months in the summer and I'd like to bring my trusty mountain bike with me, but how ? I've thought maybe on the plane itself but I'm not sure if I could take it and pay extra for it to be included In my luggage as preferably I wouldn't want it completely flat packed. Maybe someone has had a similar problem but with another country?

What are the IFR Pilot recency requirements in Canada? Hello. I would like to get my IFR rating in the future and was wondering what the recency requirements would be. Someone told me that you have to go for a Transport Canada check ride every 2 years. But in the United States you only have to keep current and no further check rides are necessary. Thank-you for your time.
What are the vision requirements for getting a private pilot's license in Canada? I've been thinking about getting into a career as a pilot, but I don't want to get too deep into it if there's some crazy rules about uncorrected vision or whatnot. Since it's Transport Canada who appears to do the testing and their a federal agency, it's basically impossible to find any info on their site. Does anyone happen to know what the vision rules are?
I am in Canada on a work permit. Do I need to change my car registration? I am in Canada on a work permit. I will be taking my car back to the US when i leave; do i need to register it in Canada or can i leave it on US plates? Transport Canada's website says that work permit holders do not need to have cars inspected but I am wondering if there are differing provincial rules?
Importing a scooter into Canada from the US? Well the scooter I have fallen for is of course not available in Canada (the Aprilia Mojito Custom). Has anybody imported a US scoot into Canada? It looks complicated but that may just be the wording of what is required from the Transport Canada and Border Services websites (I've read them both up, down and sideways so I dont' need advice on that. Just personal accounts please). Could I ask an Aprilia dealership to import one on my behalf (if I pay for the modifications necessary)? Thanks!
Why did Toyota mislead Transport Canada officials? A Canadian House of Commons Committee has begun to investigate the Toyota defects and recalls. A leading Transport Canada investigator stated that he " was appalled when Toyota didn't indicate it was aware of any problems with sticking accelerator pedals before a recall here in January." Trevor Lehouillier, the federal department's head of defect investigations, testified that " in the weeks before the recall, Toyota officials made no mention of pedal problems during earlier discussions about floor mats that might cause sudden acceleration." He went on to say that "as you would imagine, I was quite surprised and appalled at the fact they (Toyota) were not aware of it." Lehouillier testified he contacted the U.S. Office of Defects Investigation and learned that they "had received the same story from Toyota U.S.". Next Tuesday, Toyota officials are to appear before the Committee, so stay tuned.

Can anyone tell me why Transport Canada is forcing buyers to put new snow tire on rear of front whel drive car I recently purchased 2 new ice tires to replace my worn snow tires on the front of my car. I asked the dealer to mount the tires on the front. He pointed to a notice from Transportation Canada that stated that if only 2 tires were being replaced, that they would have to be mounted on the back axle. ....and that they could be legally fcharged if they mounted them on the front. Now, i have to remove and replace them myself. Does anyone know the reasoning for this?? They tried to tell me that the car would be more stable in a "situation". I tried to tell them that i wouldn't get into a "situation" if i had traction on the steering wheels. recently purchased 2 new ice tires to replace my worn snow tires on the front of my car. I tried to tell them that i wouldn't get into a "situation" if i had traction on the steering wheels. Ice tires have "sipes" in the treads, tiny grooves that grip. Not studs. When you loose grip on a curve in a RWD car the back end swings out, which can be controlled with gas (drifting), when a FWD looses traction the front end plows straight ahead and the only option is brakes which is bad. AVOID USING BRAKES IN WINTER. U have no control.
Has any one in Canada ever have any problems with the Evenflo Comet Carseat.? I am looking for other people who have problems with this carseat. I have a carseat which is only 2 1/2 years old and I am unable to use the booster part of the seat. The clips at the top of the carseat where the seat belt threads though have cracked off - therefore unsafre for my child who is now only 45lbs to use. The carseat was supposed to be good till 80lbs. Evenflo was unsatisfactory in helping me . I am searching for others so I can push for a recall to be issued from Transport Canada. I need to have at least 3 others with the same or simular problem. Any help will be greratly appriciated.

Can I sue AA transport of California or Searail of Canada for theft or deliberate negligence of duty? I contracted AA transport of California to ship my vehicle from states to Canada. The contract which I signed stated that AA transport is not responsible for interior damage or loss of after market accessories. When the vehicle was being picked up by AA transport driver, the seller specifically told the driver to note that there's a dvd player installed on the interior roof and the cordless earphones are in the box inside the car. The driver acknowledged that and said it will be taken care of. AA transport subcontracted the shipment to SEARAIL of Canada to deliver this vehicle to me. To my greatest suprise, the DVD player was stolen and damages done to the interior roof during the theft. AA transport said I should deal with the Searail of Canada. After investigation, Searail denied the claim on the ground that the agreement states that they are not responsible for theft or damages to the interior of the vehicle. I did not sign any contract with searail.who should I sue for the damages?
