Which are the residential areas in Sharjah which are close to Dubai Internet city? Hi, I would like to stay in sharjah. My work place would be either in Dubai internet city or near Dubai Municipality HQ. I would like to know how far is the border of sharjah from the above places and what residential areas are available to stay. How much would be a single to double bedroom apartment will be on rent? How convenient is public transport? Please let me know. Regards.
How good is International City of Dubai? I have been checking few real estate websites. It seems that the apartment rents in International City is cheaper than other places in Dubai. I would like to know more details about this place to stay for an indian. How far is this place from Dubai internet city and sharjah border? How is the public transport? As many details you can share with me will be very beneficial for me. Will be waiting for your replies. Thanks in advance.
Accomodation near DAFZA ( Dubai Air port free zone )? Hi , I am on the lookout for accomodation near DAFZA but lost about the surroundings . I was told Deira is the closest residential area to DAFZA but wondering how exactly to know the most convenient place to stay. I don't have a UAE driving license and hence would need to use the public transport for some time . Are Dubai International city and Discovery gardens closer to DAFZA ? I think Deira is over crowded , hence would be like to stay out of this area. Also , is DAFZA more closer towards Sharjah ? Thanks
budget hotels in the UAE - are there any? I'm a great believer in doing things cheap. I'm used to spending between no more than 30 USD on a place to sleep per night. I know the UAE is not cheap, but would it be possible to find a place to stay in this range? Taking into account that am female travelling alone and thus cannot stay at whatever places male migrant workers from India or Pakistan hang out? I'm looking at doing a stopover between flights. I'll most likely fly either via Bahrain, Sharjah or Dubai. Since the stopover is my own choice I have to pay for the hotel, thus I would be grateful for any hints. Also, how is public transport? I know it is not that good, but is it possible to get around without a car? Do I need to take a taxi to get from A to B? Are there shared taxis and minibuses? How are the prices compared to say India, Iran or Egypt?
