Does DHL shipping take longer than others? I ordered software from Apple and it shipped out Tuesday the 28th from a city near Sacramento, CA. I live 1 hour from Los Angeles, and the ETA from DHL is Oct. 6th. However, it seemed too long for me, so I checked with UPS, FedEx and USPS, and they all take 2 business days to deliver a package from the same city to where I live. Why is DHL taking longer? Is the ETA from DHL longer to make up for any problems or delays?
How do I handle this problem with DHL shipping? A month ago I placed an order and received my three large boxes via DHL. Whenever I order, the companies charge me shipping (unless there is a free shipping promo). I don't have a FedEx, UPS, or DHL account. I always get my packages ground to save on cost. Well, in short my order was $150. Today I get a bill from DHL for $140 air express service for these packages. Turns out the company shipped them air instead of ground and signed for the receiver (me) to get the bill. I didn't ok this. Why would I want to pay $140 for a $150 order when I could pay $30 for ground. I called DHL to figure out why I got the bill when the company is responsible for charging me shipping and made the mistake to send it out air. Apparently DHL says it is valid because the company signed for me to get the bill and in the process this opened an account. How should I handle this? This company has charged me for UPS ground in the past and never had UPS bill me. This is my first DHL experience

I mailed an item out with dhl. It was damaged in transit. Will the shipping charges be refunded as well? I sold some stuff on ebay. Every item had insurance on it. One of the items I sent got broke in the mail and I am going to give a refund back to the buyer. Do I refund the amount they paid for the item or do I refund the amount of the item and the shipping costs as well. If dhl won't refund the shipping cost then I don't want to get totally screwed here.

DHL shipping question? iPod problems? I had a problem with my iPod, and had to do the replace thing where they send out a box to put the iPod in, I take off the top label, and then I am supposed to drop it off at a DHL location. DHL SHIPPING TO INDIA PROBLEM.? Hi, Recently I had ordered online for a nutritional supplement from canada through the vender's website. They told me that package will be shipped only via DHL since the custom would hold the package otherwise. They also told me that the amount should be final which was USD 155 including product cost+Shipping and no additional charges would be required. But now DHL called me and told me that the package is listed under food category and therefore they are not unable to deliver the package until they get an N.O.C from Chennai health department wich would cost me an additional 7500.00 Rs (apprx 163 USD). I think this is crazy because my package costs only 155 including all charges and I have to pay 163 USD extra just to get it delivered to me. Anyone has any information regarding this issue which would be very helpful to me? I'm stuck.
DHL Shipping question? I ordered these pair of sunglasses from online. It shipped out of the DHL facility october 20th. It arrived in my city the next day october 21 which was tuesday. Its been couple days and I have been tracking my package and they haven't done jack ish since then. Does it really take this long to deliver out my item when its in my city? I mean its friday now.
