Which car transport companies hire regular people to drive cars cross country? I'm planning on going to the midwest in the summer and a friend of mine told me about car transport companies. She said that she had to go out of state once and couldn't afford to buy a plane ticket. She used a contacted a car transport company and drove a car to whichever state she needed to go and just had to pay for the gas to get there. Does anyone know which companies do that?

Do companies hire people (who need a one way rental car) to transport a car for them? I am making a trip with friends to california. We wanted to get a rental car one way, then fly home. A friend at work told me that years ago he got in touch with a car transport company, that actually "hired" him i guess you could call it, to deliver the car. He signed paper work, they filled it up with gas and told him where it needed to go. So basically he did them a service, and got to use the car as his "free" one way rental that he needed for his one way trip across the country. Has anyone ever heard of this?????????

Newly licensed driver needs to transport car within Florida? I'm 27 and newly licensed.. This is my first license. I'm cleaning up my act, all fines are paid and I completed the required course. I purchased a car in Tampa and want to pick it up and drive it back. I can't obtain the title until I reach Tampa, and of course with no title comes no insurance and no tag.
