I am selling a few things and I am trying to figure out how do you set a shipping and handling charge if the destinations are not known yet? Ex. I have an item for $10.00 and another for $6.00, What would be or could be the shipping and handling charges for those items?

Handling charges ( what? ..... putting a thing in a box with minimal labor people is a big deal?) is a joke for more profit. How to come up with shipping charges now that eBay charges a 9% fee for shipping costs? I haven't been selling on eBay since last year. How do you feel about sites that charge shipping fees based on the value of the purchase, and not the weight? I am incensed that so many online sites are doing this, it makes no sense and is really insulting to the consumer.
