Getting from ORLANDO greyhound to the Magic Kingdom?

Anyone have any good suggestions? Is there a good economical way to get from the Orlando Greyhound bus station TO a resort in the Magic Kingdom? I cannot find any reasonable info on shuttles from the two locations and taxi's are $41.75 plus tip which is outrageous for a short drive like that? Any experienced peeps who know the ins and outs?

1. The Orlando Greyhound bus station is located near Downtown Orlando which is about 30-45 minutes north of Disney. The taxi fare sounds fairly average for that trip distance. Im not sure which taxi company you quoted but I always recommend you use a reputable widely-used company such as Yellow Cab, here is their dispatch number that you can call for a fare estimate: 407-422-2222 Hope that helps. 2. You might try contacting Mears Transportation. They will probably be as expensive as the taxi (especially since they operate a lot of taxi services in Orlando), but they operate almost all shuttles within Disney. 3. The Orlando Greyhound station is really not in best area of Orlando, so it would be a great idea to grab a cab from there. The cabbies are stationed outside of the bus station and you can hire one at anytime. You can hire one of the many transportation companies to meet you there but you should grab the first cab you see.
4. you could contat the local transit agency called Lynx in that area you would have to take 2 buses to get to the Magic Kindom but it would be the cheapest
5. The city transit system LYNX does provide service between the two, but a walk of about 3 blocks is necessary to reach the correct bus stop from the Greyhound station. The fare is cheap but one transfer is required in downtown to complete the trip. Sadly, the area around the Greyhound station is a really dangerous place so be careful if you choose the transit option.
