How do I get from Beverly Hills to Universal Studios via public transport?
I'm staying in Beverly Hills but will need to use public transport to get around. What is the best way to get from Beverly Hills to Universal Studios?

- Take MTA bus #4 or 304 to Santa Monica/Vermont and take Subway red line. or Take bus #217 to Highland/Hollywood, and take Red Line. Fare $5 day pass.
- On the bus....
- From Beverly Hills, you want to take the Wilshire bus 20,21, 720,or 920 to Wilshire and Western (the subway station) then you take the Red Line North to Universal Studios exit. When you exit the subway station, you cross the street and there is a trolley (free) that takes you up the hill to Universal, but don't stay too late without finding out the trolley times, so you don't miss the last one. To put in your exact location you can go to www.mta.net and put in you starting and ending locations and it'll give you the best routes and the times the buses/trains come.
- You need to get to the subway either at Highland, or Vermont or Wilshire and Western. There should be buses going down Wilshire, Santa Monica. Mobile Mark will have to tell you the numbers and the streets they go West to East on..
- Darn Tom C beat me to the answer to take the 4 or 704 to Vermont/Santa Monica then Red Line to Universal although another person suggested taking the 720 to Wilshire/Western -thats doable expect the red line no longer services Western/Wilshire (thats the purple line that does) they would still have to transfer at Vermont to the red Line) a better idea is to take the 720 to Vermont/Wilshire then catch the Red Line to Universal and a day pass a good deal as well
