Why do I dream of public transport so much?

In most of my dreams I am either at a station, an airport, a port, or somewhere where there's public transport. I don't recall actually travelling on whatever vehicle it happens to be, at least not very often - it's more the process of getting on it that I dream about the most. Then there's always some random distraction that I have to take care of along the way before I can get onto the boat or plane or train. Can anyone explain to me what this is all about?

1. I think it could mean you want to get away from the situation you are in.The fact you can't get on the transport may mean you don't know how to deal with it.
2. You have obviously dodged paying the fare at sometime or other.
3. Maybe you have some hidden latent desire towards people who work in public transport. Maybe you like people in oh I don't know, a bus drivers uniform?
4. I love public transport dreams, I've had so many myself. You are trying to/ about to start a personal journey - in other words you are maturing, growing and broadening your horizons. But first you must address the problems that are around you, which seem to be small things. You aren't travelling in your dreams yet because your journey is only just beginning. If you experience delays in your dreams, try to relate this to your waking life - it may mean you have come across a hurdle or stumbling block, put that right and you will progress in life and your dreams should reflect that. good luck.
