Thanks in advance why? you ask- it's the brief, a hard one i know. i personally wouldn't want to talk to people either, but its the brief to create adverts to encourage people to talk on public transport. why? you ask- it's the brief, a hard one i know. i personally wouldn't want to talk to people either, but its the brief to create adverts to encourage people to talk on public transport.

  1. Why? Thats the perfect place to chill and think about random stuff..why do you wnat to ruin that for people? I'm social but I prefer to be left alone.
  2. does this happen to be for an arts course? 'cos my mate has had the same brief and all my good ideas have gone to him sorry
  3. Ok here's an idea I just came up with... Most people look at a person's fingers to see if they're wearing a wedding ring to judge whether they are available or not, right? Why not have a discreet item of jewellery like a ring that people can wear if they are in a socially 'receptive' mood and welcome friendly chit-chat on the bus or train etc? Many people do like their privacy on public transport because it may be the only time they have to gather their thoughts and be themselves. I do too, but if someone interesting happens to begin a conversation with me, I'm quite happy to 'play along'. It could be like 'Red Nose' Day (in a way).
