What is an easy to fold pushchair/travel system that i can use on public transport out in the market now?

I need a pushchair thats folds really easily as i will be using public transport.Also are travel sysems safe- the ones with the car seats(heard the car seats laying postion were unsafe).What pushchair do you have and is it good. Anyone with any tipps on buying?

1. I have a maclaren pushchair, which I put my daughter in when she was 10mths old. Its great, really lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and quick to put up and down. Was advised to get one by lots of friends who had previously had them and I haven't complained since I got it. I got mine from Mothercare, who were REALLY helpful and took time to help me decide what I needed. They also helped me purchase a car seat which they actually fitted in my car and made sure it safe before letting me go. Their service was great!
2. I went through 3 pushchairs, first was a Jane, far too cumbersome and large, found it quite hard to get the car seat off the pram too though it did lay flat when the lo was very small to minimise back probs. The second was a Mothercare, cheap £70 and very cheaply made, not great. The third which I am still using is a Quinny Zapp and it is great, compact, lightweight, easy to get in and out of shops so I am sure it would be good on public transport, plus you can get the Maxi Cosi car seats to fit them for the real little ones. I would recommend the Quinny. The only thing is you can't overload it or the pram will tip. Good luck!
3. ive got a momas and papas pulse pushchair it fantastic and easy to fold i got it as i use public transport myself its not expensive either
4. hi, i have a Quinny Zapp which is great i take it on public transport with me :buses,trains and great for small car boot.i use mine on the train mainly it folds up to nothing and has its own carry bag cost around £140 and was money well spent.
5. im sure all travel systems fold up well, besides Buses cater for pushchairs/prams now, so no need to fold it
6. hi, when i first had my baby i bought a britax travel system with car seat it was very safe and very handy Then when i went back to work i bought a mamas and papas pushchair its very light and has a handle i can use to carry it. Have a look around there are some great pushchairs out there x
7. I work in a pram shop (www.pramsetc.co.uk) called Prams Etc in Plymouth, Devon. We never recommend travel systems where the baby is not flat. The best travel sytems (where you baby CAN lay flat) are Red Castle and Mutsy - just google those names and go on the websites. Probably out of those 2 then Red Castle would be best as the stroller they do folds up very small. Every car seat passes the same test and is safe!
