Location Transport

London is such a posh, developed city..yet why so much rubbish on roads and vandalism on public transport?

I visualised London in a great way...being clean everywhere, posh streets and so on..but i often see rubbish simply thrown on roads and pavements and a lot of scratches on windows of tube trains and london buses.why is that? shock!!!

Public Comments

  1. Non so?
  2. Because people are idiots everywhere, even in so called "advance" countries.
  3. because people (in general) all over the world are pigs... they don't care about anything or anyone except themselves. they destroy public property with no regard for the costs to repair it or how bad it looks... and then they get upset when arrested and placed in jail! No personal responsibility anymore!
  4. In every large city , people get frustrated, they are out of work, and they havn't been brought up correctly
  5. not every part of london is posh..the isle of dogs has the highest rater of income and jobs in the upper market. followed by some parts of central london nameingly oxford street. harrods etc..with there high class hotels etc..but most areas of london are bad realy bad..lime house for a start. battersea. and the list goes on and on. the crime is high. and yes graffitti on nearly every wall or street corner you turn. due to boredom of the youths of today and the goverment not taking any course of action to cure this problem. lets face it we have the homeless (bless em) that live in cardboard city which is behind one high class hotel in london along the embankment. they stay there in hope of scrapes of food being thrown out which are left overs from the breakfast every day. we have beggars on the street trying to earn a living. baskers on the streets hopeing for a penny or 2. and we all expect the london youths to be respectable when they see this every day of there lifes. whos fault is this. i know the vandalism should never be allowed to happen. but there will always be the certain few who will do it..wether we like it or not..and dirty streets..there will never be a clean street in london..itll be almost impossible to keep clean. like most cities of the world. the population here with tourism and working class. buses. taxis etc..it to high. and dont you agree with me here..that if a cleaner was to take his trolly round london streets he would end up paying a congestion charge and getting tickets for stayinmg in the same place too long whilst cleaning up the next lot of rubbish. haaaa.
