Help needed to plan day trip from London to Stonehenge and Avebury!?

Hi, I'm planning to take the train from London to Stonehenge and hopefully Avebury with my friend instead of booking a place with day-tour agencies. While I roughly know how to get to Salisbury from London, I am not sure of the time needed or bus number to take us from Salisbury to Avebury. Can anyone advise us on the following: 1) Cost of train ticket frm London to Salisbury; 2) Cost of bus ride from Salisbury to Stonehenge; 3) What public transport available from Stonehenge to Avebury, ticket costs as well as length of time needed to reach there; 4) How to get back from Avebury to London, as well as costs and time duration.
