Is there a website where I can get information about public transport in Britain?

Is there any official website? E.g; Transinfo for Brisbane public transportation system. Is there similar website for Britain's?

Not sure if there is one that has everything on it but I personally use; Trains - National Rail Enquiries www.nationalrail.co.uk Megatrain/bus- (cheap bus and train travel, often from £1 per journey) www.megabus.com Bus - national express www.nationalexpress.com London Transport - (e.g. Tube/london buses) www.tfl.gov.uk For buses in other towns, such as manchester, southampton, leeds, edinburgh, etc try www.firstgroup.com which has timetable for local buses etc.
