Location Transport

Alton Towers? Wheres the best places to stay if you hav to use public transport to back & forth from the park?

I wanna go to alton towers for a couple of days and I need any advice I can get only places to stay, getting to and from, tickets for alton towers etc any information would be much appreciated, thanx

1. Bed and breakfast close to the park is probably one of the cheapest forms of accomodation, tickets get on the door when you arrive
2. I stayed in the Travel Inn Uttoexter last year It's really close to the park, about 10-15 min drive and you can get public transport, or a taxi was only about £15
3. Definitely Peakstones Inn. The landlady is lovely and will help you out with anything you need before your stay. Her name is Margaret. Their website is www.peakstones-inn.co.uk You will love it here and its about 5 minute drive from the park plus margaret can help you out with a really nice cheap cab driver if you dont drive!
