Information about Britain?

i am travelling to britain soon and i need some information i want to visit the hotel in the comedy 'fawlty towers' , and the shop in the comedy ' open all hours' can you please tell me where these are located in britain and if i could travel there by public transport? Thanks can you also tell me where Hyacinth bucket's comedy was filmed? and also the series 'heart beat' thanks

1. fawlty towers - the filming of the exterior hotel used in fawlty towers is called "The gleneagles hotel" in torquay. Open all hours - Lister avenue in balby,a suburb of doncaster in yorkshire is where you will find the shop used in the series. The shop itself is actually a hairdressers salon. Gladys emmanuel's house was 34 lister avenue in the 1st series but moved to #32 in the second series onwards. keeping up appearences - exterior shots of hyacinths house were filmed in binley woods near coventry. Exterior shots around daisy & onslow's council terrace house were filmed in stoke aldermoor in coventry - other exterior shots and town shots were filmed in leamington spa and in various towns throughout warwickshire,some scenes were also shot in swindon and oxford. Heartbeat - the village used in heartbeat was aidensfield in yorkshire. All exterior shots were filmed in and around the village and in various locations in yorkshire. Goathland station was also the setting for hogsmead station in the 1st harry potter film. You should'nt have a problem finding these locations,check them out on the internet. Hope all this helps!!
