4. Crank 2 has a scheduled release date of 2009, no specific date. According to Rotten Tomatoes and the producer, Luc Besson, there will be a transporter 3, but no mention as to whether Statham will be in it. 5. ...according to this article, "Crank 2" will be shooting, in early 2008; I guess it will be a direct sequel, meaning that Jason Statham's character may not be as dead, as the ending of the original film might imply... ...no word yet, on a third "Transporter", but I would not be at all surprised...
