Can you get all-day or weekly public transport passes to get around Sydney? How much and where from?

- Yes you can get an all-day or weekly public transport passes to get around Sydney. While you can get this at any train station, I would recommend you getting it from Town Hall train station on George Street. There are machines dispensing these tickets but if you are unsure as to what to get, you can go to one of the ticket booths and the attendants there will be more than happy to recommend the tickets for you. The ticket prices vary depending on the validity of the ticket (daily / weekly) and the coverage of the trips. You can get one ticket that covers train / bus / ferry which is a good way to get around Sydney. However I'm just not sure how much it costs. Check out http://www.sta.nsw.gov.au/ for NSW State Transit Authority, who runs the bus / train / ferry network in Sydney.
- you can get a day tripper pass from any train station it costs $15.50 after 9am it cover all trains, government buses and ferries up to 4 am the next morning. You can also buy a weekly ticket but that is from the stop you started at and to a destination point then return daily
