  1. I don't know anymore but I too would like to know the answer to your question. I was in Sydney many years ago and I understand thing there have changed. I do remember being there in April and at a time they participate in the Royal Easter Carnival, and if I remember it was held in a park of the same names as your Royal Park. I remember the countrymen and their live stock the exibits, the fun and good time there. I remember nothing of it being unsafe. but..a lot of time has gone under the bridge. I pray it will be as good for you as I remember. I hope someone gives you a great answer friend Blessing always Rangefinder
  2. It's in The Shire. The area isn't too bad. Laid back, peaceful and quiet. If you're intending to live in the towns within the Royal National Park, you might have to travel a long way to Sutherland station, depending on where you live. You can also use Cronulla station if you catch a ferry from Bundeena to Cronulla. The Park is home to a few venomous snakes. You may want to be a bit more careful. However, snakes are shy and will go away when given the chance to. Read more about the Park here: http://www2.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/parks.nsf/ParkContent/N0030?OpenDocument&ParkKey=N0030&Type=Xo That's all I know of since I've only been there once for my camp. Hope this has helped anyway.
  3. Bundeena has a ferry to Cronulla, where there is a railway station. I believe it to be a safe place.
  4. its no differnt then a usa city. Someone messes with you say piss off. i use to live there and its no diff then boston, ny
  5. Depends where in the national park you will be staying id say it would be bundeena which can be a bit of a pain to get to and from most of all at night cause the ferry stops running in the evening. as for public transport the ferry is it so its best if you have a car or acess to one. The area is safe but in summer it does pay to keep an eye out for snakes but having lived near the bush my whole life ive only ever seen a couple of dangerous snakes near the house and they buggered off pretty quick. The other thing is bushfires which can be a bit dangerous but the firies are pretty good at their jobs and you will get fair warning. But saying that it is a fantastic place to live quiet, peaceful and great fishing have fun!
