San Francisco to Winchester Mystery House by Public Transport?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering which is the best way to get from San Francisco to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose - via Public transport? If there is a bus from Fremont station, or a bus from the San Jose Greyhound station...anything really. I'm open to all ideas that don't involve cabs. I'm from Australia, but have visited San Fran before, so I know my way around a little. And I will be visiting in June, so I'm not there yet! Cheers :-)

1. It's a fairly simple route, but it will take a great deal of time. From any subway station in Downtown San Francisco, take either N or T lines to Mission Bay station. Take the Caltrain commuter rail from Mission Bay station (i.e. 4th Street and King) in San Francisco to Santa Clara station. http://www.caltrain.com/timetable.html Then transfer to VTA bus #60. http://www.vta.org/schedules/SC_60.html
