Absent a taxi, whats the best public transport for San Francisco airport to Fishermans Wharf?

1. I love SF... one of the best places i have ever been... the best transport to fisherman's wharf is by using TRAMRaill.... traditional, a lovely view and feels pretty much like in the 1860s San Franciscan.
2. Take the BART(Bay Area Rapid Transit)and don't forget to take a ride on the Cable Car
3. Take BART to the Powell Station and transfer to the number 15 SF Muni Bus.
4. Munchen008 has it nailed and makes a excellent suggestion, "Take BART to the Powell Station and transfer to the number 15 SF Muni Bus". Give him the 10 points. My only addition would be to take the number 15 SF Muni Bus if the weather is cold and ugly. Otherwise, (also from the Powell Station) take the Cable Car to Fisherman's Wharf. The ride is a unique SF experience.
5. I would also suggest taking F-Market street car from Powell station after taking BART from the airport. It's the same price as regular bus ($1.50 v. $5.00 for cable car) so less expensive than cable car, and you can take in the bay view. Or you may want to take cable car one way, street car the other.
