1. Because Gonzales, Ca is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, your best bet would be greyhound bus.
2. If Gonzales, CA off 101by Monterey you probably write the only thing you can take would be Greyhound. you can check with Amtrak and see if they stop in Monterey and then take the bus it would be a much nicer ride.
3. You could also take Amtrak to Salinas then MST to Gonzales. The Salinas - King City bus runs through Gonzales.
