What is the best method to reach San Francisco by 9am from Cupertino?

I need to reach San Francisco by 9am for sight seeing trip. But I have the hotel in Cupertino. How to reach by public transport?

1. Take a train. There is a station in Sunnyvale, not far from Cupertino.
2. Take the cal train from Sunnyvale station. You can also plan your trip from www.511.org
3. Yes, take the Caltrain up, yet depending on where in the city you need to go, you might have to exit the train at the Millbrae station and take B.A.R.T. to get to where you need to go. Caltrain really only has one major stop in downtown (the final one). You could take Caltrain to that station and get on the MUNI bus system to take you were you need to go. Or like I said earlier, take the BART into the city and possibly get off at a station closer to your destination and walk from there.
