How much do shipping charges go up when shipping to Canada from Michigan, US?
The company I work for has an eBay store and we usually only ship within the US but we recently had an interested buyer write us asking if we would ship to Canada. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be much more to ship to Canada? And if so, how much are shipping upcharges approximately? Please respond soon! I must get this done this morning!

- Alright, go to www.usps.gov. Figure the postage of the item for shipping in the states. Then plug in a Canadian address. That is your difference with the postal service. Do the same with UPS. Do the same with FedEx. Or check other sellers at ebay that ship to Canada & use their rates.
- I use Affinity Freight when I need to ship within the US or to Canada. They also ship my items to Scotland and Liverpool. They do an excellent job and are very helpful. They also have an automated quoting sytem on their website www.affinityfreight.com that lets you get instant quotes. Some other companies that ship into Canada is Yellow Freight, Fed Ex, and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. I hope this helps :-)
- It depends on how you ship it. If you are an e-bay business and looking to expand to support international buyers, you may want to look at this article and company. http://www.bongous.com/ebay.php To you present need, your cheapest bet is either the post office or UPS Ground to Canada. Make sure you brush up on the documentation requirements. There is a list of restricted and prohibited commodities here: http://www.bongous.com/country-information/us-to-canada.php
