What is the process of the DHL shipping?

I know that the first step is "Shipment Acknowledged".

1. OK, wrong category but I'll answer it anyway. The drop off center slaps a barcode on your package and tells the rest of the DHL centers that this barcode means your package. They send it off to the nearest main hub and they scan it there when it arrives and when they send it to the next main hub that is closest to your delivery point. When it gets there, those people scan it and when they ship it off to the the local distribution center, they scan it again. Then it is scanned when it arrives and when it is sent out onto the truck to be delivered. When the driver drops off the package he scans it one last time and leaves it there.
