DHL shipping question? iPod problems?

I had a problem with my iPod, and had to do the replace thing where they send out a box to put the iPod in, I take off the top label, and then I am supposed to drop it off at a DHL location. I followed their directions, only instead of going to an actual DHL place, I just put it a DHL dropbox. Will it still get there?? I know the shipping was paid for by apple, but was I supposed to actually go into a dhl location to have some other kind of info attached?

1. thats too risky, I think you should have gone to the DHL location they would have put something on it like fragile, this side up or something like that. and in some towns they break into the dropboxes. good luck
