- Yes it is possible but the chances are rare due to the technological developments.
- oh, yeah!! Happens all the time. Especially if the address is hard to read or the zip code is wrong. Mistakes even happen when the info is correct.
- Heck yeah. It is not a problem that often happens, but it does happen. I ordered an item and Fedex picked up the package and then halfway through california the package got "lost". It never arrived at my place and FedEx had no idea where the package was it. It was being tracked but somehow it poofed. The company just shipped me another of the same item and it arrived just fine.
- Yes, absolutely. Even with automated sorting systems, sometimes there's a glitch (or just human error) and the package gets sorted into the wrong truck or plane. Sometimes the package just gets sent the wrong method (ground instead of air), so it might go through a ground hub in Colorado, on its way to California. Thousands of packages are missorted every single day. It's very common. The shipping company will just send it on its way to the correct destination most of the time. Just give it a few more days.
