Shipping something DHL?

I am shipping something DHL. If it ships today will it arrive in Estonia on saturday? well it doenst need to be overnighted...i think it should take 2 business days, but i'm worried about it being a holiday. Why would they not deliver on saturday? This sucks.

....how far is Estonia from you? No, nevermind, DHL only does Saturday delivery if you request and PAY for it! EDIT- No standard shipping other than US mail includes Saturday delivery, because drivers work at least 10 hours a day and are into overtime by Friday. So if you want it done, you gotta pay. Sorry! But if it went out today, Tomorrow doesn't count and it may be there Friday...but maybe not til Monday. And DHL lost NINE of my packages this summer...so good luck!
you did not state where you are shipping from, but all the same, i think it is probable.

It all depends on where you're shipping from, where the closest major hub is, what type of delivery you designated (next day, 2nd day, etc) & whether the destination is in a rural area or not. You also have to pay extra for Saturday delivery. My work does a lot of shipping through DHL & I've had to track quite a few things so I see quite a bit how the process works. We're in Missouri & may send something Next-Day to California or Hawaii but it'll actually take 3 days, maybe more, to get there. This is cause it has to travel over to a major hub of theirs in Ohio first. I've had to ship something Next-Day to a small town in Minnesota one time & it took 5 days because the area was so rural. Just to get it there as quickly as possible (since we were limited on time) we actually had to get FedEx involved in there also to help deliver it otherwise it would've taken much longer. Shipping can be a real pain sometimes..... If they gave you a tracking number then you can go to the DHL website to track it's progress & see when it gets delivered.
