DHL drop box or Authorized Shipping Center?

i need return a defect 15.4" laptop to Dell for repair, and they said they will send me a prepaid DHL box for me, so i am wondering 1.should i go for DHL drop box or Authorized Shipping Center? 2. is drop box safe? (well it fit the dell prepaid box?) 3. and if i go either drop box or Authorized Shipping Center, and if they lost package what do i do then? 4. does the shipping center scan the package into their computer or do i get any receipt? (my first time dealing with DHL, i usually go with UPS or USPS) thanks oh, cause when i go to UPS shipping center they dont give you receipt, if it is a drop off. so DHL Shipping center does give you receipt even it is a drop off?

1. The laptop box probably won't fit in the drop box. Go to an authorized shipping center they should be able to print you out a receipt there showing it was sent.
2. Not all DHL facilities, can print you off a receipt. It is defiantly worth asking. I myself had this same question on my mind when returning dell parts, for repair. I never got a receipt from my local DHL Facility. But it arrived okay. In the situation that something were to happen to this package, DHL will probably be able to pull it up in their records. As for drop boxes, the laptop may fit in some of the larger ones. But there is no way to retrieve and receipt for a package that goes in the drop box. But don't get me wrong, I think that the drop boxes are pretty safe. Good Luck!
