Shipping car from California to Toronto, Canada?

I want to buy a car in California and ship it Toronto, Canada since I'm going to be moving there. Can anyone give me information on which taxes do I have to pay to be able to get my car in Canada? Also, what do I have to do (and how much) to register the car in Canada? If you have any good suggestion about shipping company it would be great also. Thx, :)

1. check on ebay.ca they have a car shipping calculator i think for a regular car it will be around 1500-2000 dollars . other option drive it,
2. Contact the people at Canadian customs. They would be able to give you accurate information. You can find shipping companies by searching the web. One that I know of is Dependable Auto Shippers. They are one of many companies that ship internationally.
