What makes VW Transporter/Porsche 914 axles turn counterclockwise while VW/Porsche 911 turn clockwise? Thx?
This question relates to mounting a Harley-D engine on front of a 3-wheeler FWD microcar. I have located an adapter ($1800!) to buckle up the V-Twin to the bellhousing. The gearshift would be simple, and tranny will provide a reverse gear. The rest is mostly mix-and-match. I would prefer the engine to be up front, as a counterweight to rest of chassis, (think 1935 Morgan SuperSport with a more modern profile)
