My vw T4 Transporter has developed a starting problem...?

2 out of the last 4 nights my vw has failed to fire up after being parked up, but the following morning works fine. The engine turns well, just doesnt fire. Its baffling and also annoying, have any of you had this happen before, and if so, what was the remedy? Many thanks in advance.... Cheers

1. First thought is the glow plugs, if not them is the van parked facing uphill, if so it could be an air leak in the fuel line. If yes try parking looking downhill - if this is the cure get the fairy liquid on all joints of the fuel line, it will suck in before the pump and blow bubbles after the pump. Good luck, cheers, Gizz
