USPS EMS item international dispatched at 7 mar and no update since then.. what happened?

item has been shipped by EMS post at 3 Mar to New Zealand and tracking has been updated to "international dispatch" at same day but since then.. no more update ... does that usually take that long to ship overseas?? where is my item now?

1. There is no further information on your package. www.nzpost.co.nz is the NZ Post Office. Keep looking for your number there, or, you can also use their Courier Post website, http://www.courierpost.co.nz/Track/Track+n+Trace/default.htm to look up the number.
