shipping supplies?

I sold a bunch of video games online. What is the best way to package them up? Does the USPS offer free shipping supplies?

  1. No, you have to pay for the shipping supplies, except things like envelopes, small boxes, and labels. The best way to ship them depends on what you are shipping. You don't describe the games, so there is no way to tell.
  2. As long as you are shipping these items by priority mail you can get free shipping supplies from the post office. They offer boxes as small as movie video boxes to boxes that are about 14" big. If you are sending just the jewel cases and manuals you'll be able to use the smaller boxes. You'll need the larger ones if the retail box is going as well. Also, keep in mind that if you have a lot going to one place there are flat rate priority mail boxes. Anything going that is over 3 pounds and is going fairly far away will be FAR cheaper in a flat rate box. Those come in several sizes. Try this url for a list of the various boxes they offer for free: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductCategoryDisplay?catalogId=10152&storeId=10001&categoryId=13354&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=11820&top_category=11820 Keep in mind that you have larger quantities of these free supplies shipped directly to your house for free! Congrats on your sales!
