WIll USPS deliver a package on saturday in Brooklyn, NY?

I ordered a video game from amazon.com last week and choose the free shipping option. It was shipped with USPS and the tracking information says that it is currently in Brooklyn, NY (on a saturday). Will the mailman bring the package to me today, or will I have to wait until monday (the package is probably the size of a textbook and weighs a couple of pounds)?

1. Mail is delivered on Saturday as well as Monday thru Friday, so if it's sorted out to the route, and you are home then, you should receive your package. If you live in an apartment, I think they just drop off a slip and you have to go to the local po.
