How do I go about shipping through UPS?

I have a big heavy box that I need to ship. I have never shipped through UPS. Are there any certain procedures? Is it similiar to shipping through the USPS? Thanks in advance for your help.

1. You have to go to a Mailboxes Etc. or a similar store where they have UPS service. Check with Office Depot and Staples also, I know they have Fed-Ex shipping so they may have UPS shipping also. UPS does have limits on size and weight. If your box is outside those limits, you will have to send it freight (semi truck).
