Is it possible to upgrade shipping to overnight once an item has been shipped? Through UPS?

I purchsed an itme online and I need it ASAP. The company that I bought the item from only offered ground shipping. If I call UPS, can I upgrade the shipping to overnight? When I try to track it online, it says that the billing information has been received but I don't think UPS has the package in their posession yet. Thanks

1. Call UPS and ask them. I would doubt it but you never know till you ask.
