Does UPS have suitable packing and boxing materials for shipping a guitar?

I am planning on taking a guitar I sold to the UPS store and telling them to just box it up. Anyone know if they do a good job or if they even offer all the right materials for shipping a guitar? Thanks!

1. Yes they can handle it. Just do not show up at the UPS delivery desk with it. They just take prepackaged shipments.
2. If they take it to pack and ship you should be fine. That's what they do. Insure the guitar also, you get $100. free. If it is worth more you must tell them and pay a little more for the insurance. This is a no brain-er you will be fine You can show up a UPS store with your guitar and they will pack it for you for a little extra money. The good thing about that is, it puts the monkey on them if something happens in shipment since they did pack it . I use them a lot
