Who offer the best rates when it comes to shipping off packages? USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL.?

I need to have about six boxes ship to Ms by Thursday and was wondering who offer the better rates.

1. it depends on how big the boxes are. I usually get the flat rate boxes from USPS which cost about $4.05 a box to send. but I've found over all USPS has better rates and with delievery confirmation, I can track when my boxes get where they are going with ease
2. Believe it or not, even with the latest rate hike, the USPS is the cheapest way of shipping packages!! Measure and weigh all the boxes, go onto the USPS site and go into "Calculate shipping", put in the weight, if a large box, choose large package, click on the "?" and enter the dimensions, put in your zip code, the receiver's zip code, hit "continue" and you will get the rates and any and all shipping options available. P.S. don't 100% believe the shipping times that are given.
