container shipping cost from oz to new zealand?

we are thinking of buying ikea furnitures/home wares from oz and import into nz, but have no idea what shipping might cost us per 20ft container, and the import duty tax for doing so...can someone give us an idea? just wondering whether there's a cheaper way , or some guides on how to do this? cheers!

1. You should consult a freight forwarder. These companies have connections with ship operators,or sometimes they have their own ships. They will also deal with the custom clearance details,don't worry. Make a search for a freight forwarder or a logistic company working on that area and as for a "door to door" price. Good luck.
