Location Transport

Is there any means to transport my car into faraway state without driving it myself?

I am moving to west coast from midwest and I was told that there some means to transport your vehicle without having have to drive it for long hours. Any suggestions? And how much would it cost in average?

1. Ship it on a car carrier, or tow it behind the moving van
2. You could hire someone to drive the car for you, or haul it on a truck, but it won't be cheap... Figure on $500-750 to pick up and deliver on your schedule. 4. There are companies that specialize in just such a thing. We had a car moved from Indiana to California. In 1996, it was about $625-650. They hauled it on a car carrier, like they deliver cars to dealerships with.
