Location Transport

has anyone used any of the pet transport companies that will drive pets across country?

I am moving across country and don't want to fly my dogs. Am considering a pet transport rather than driving them in my car.

1. I didn't but I considered it and researched it once when there was a possibility my husband and I would move across states. When you find a company that does it, make sure you researched them properly and call references. There are pet transport companies that fly your dog and they handle everything about it. They transport your dog to the airport on approved kennels and they make sure the dog is safe. Once the dog gets to the destination, the company also arranges for transportation from airport to your house. But when I researched this, it was very expensive. But it does beat you doing it yourself because they would know the regulations and such. Now, the same companies may also transport your dogs by car if it's not far enough. Good luck to you and your dog.
2. May sound strange, but what about a Horse transport company? You could even pay for them to be shipped in a nice 8 x 8 stall where they will have all sorts of room.

5. tie them to you rbumper and drive slow, animals love excersise, just dont pull a national lampoon move on them
