How do I relocate my car from Melbourne to Kalgoorlie?

My partner & I are moving from Melbourne VIC to Kalgoorlie WA. We have 2 cars. We'll be driving 1 car & we want to transport the 2nd car over by train. Which companies do this? Also has anyone made this move before? Which is the best house removalist company to use?

3. Try Guardian Removals. Just look on the Net for freight transport for your car. There are heaps of them. If you're going to Kal to work on the mines, the mining company will be able to tell you which freight service to use.
4. "Which is the best house removalist company to use?" Look at whats available in the Yellow pages, get quotes and look VERY carefully at the insurance cover.
5. 1. Vic Rail will organise it all and transfer the car to the ANR's Transcontinetal at Adelaide or a freight train. (Although trucking it over will be a lot cheaper - but use a Perth based company as back filling loads are cheaper still). 2. Downard Pickfords were great for me. I think they are now called Wridgeway or something.
