- Yes, but naturally you can expect some strange behaviour towards you. Just as long as you don't intend to fly to New York any time soon!
- im an arab muslim. i never heard of it being agains our religion. they might discriminate us just bcuz were muslims & of what happend in the past. but i think if it's wat u want 2 do then u should go ahead & do it. salam =]
- you can easy by your money take this as you have required fittness ,,andthat you are normal citizen does not work or have certain politic thoughts
- Yes, of course, you can. But don't be surprised if you get a more extensive background check before you can get your license. The airlines are laying people off right and left these days. I hope you can find a job after you get your training.
- Of course you can get a pilot's license. Sadly, you may face some extra scrutiny in your background check, but there is no law that says you cannot be a pilot based on religious background. In fact, job discrimination based on religion is expressly prohibited by law. Check out the link to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission website below. They are the government agency which enforces employment laws, specifically Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
- Yes they can. My husband just got his full FAA ATP in May. He previously had a frozen ICAO ATP. The instructor he worked with was very nice and we were lucky that he did not experience any discrimination during the process. The FAA Examiner he had was very good as well. While he did not discriminate, he also did not give out license to people who did not deserve them. He actually failed a man on his ATP the day before my husband took his check ride. As long as you can prove you know your stuff, most examiners will score you accordingly. If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
- I would say "Go for it!" Good luck!
