Location Transport

International car hire?

Does anyone know if it's possible to hire a car in France and leave it back in the UK?? I only need one way and need o transport some stuff, but everywhere I've checked so far only seem to offer hiring and return within the same country.

2. hertz allow this service but it's very expensive as they have to ship the car back to France, the closer you are to France the cheaper. For example hiring a small car from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Manchester Airport for 4 days costs £1158 The same car and time but stopping at London Heathrow costs £668.
