Beaches in Orlando Florida?
I will be staying in a hotel on International Drive. Do not have a car, so would need to travel to the beach by public transport. Are there any beaches near there I'd be able to get to?

- The closest "real" beaches are about an hour or so drive. I dont know of any public transportation that would take you out there, but i suppose something could be arranged. It would certainly be cheaper to just rent a car though.
- I have no experience with this place, just know of it, but it's a start. Cocoa Beach Shuttle: http://www.cbshuttle.com/
- Orlando is inland so we really don't have beaches closeby. The closest is about 45min to an hour away.
- There are several lakes that have small beaches, but, not on International Drive. Wet N Wild would be as much if not more fun than the coastal beaches like Daytona or Cocoa which are an hour + away and you would need a car. Orlando is quite difficult to get around without a car.
