Location Transport

Does anyone know a way for a college student who is completely on his own to get a car so he can get to school

Well i live two hours away from my school and i just recently got a house with a couple of buddies from school but the whole thing isnt furnished at all. The problem is right now i am stranded 2 hours away from school and no way to get there.I need to transport all my stuff to school and furnature which i didnt have to do last year cause i was in the dorm. I need a car to get back and forth. I dont have any credit so they wont finace me and i dont have a cosigner. I have a couple hundred dollars saved up but not that much. Does anyone know of anyway to get a cheap car and maybe work on it or anyway to do this. Right now i am desprate i have tried everything. Anything anybody knows would be greatly appriocated.

1. Their are car dealer that specialize in selling cars and trucks to people that have no credit or even bad credit. But these places usually sell their vehicles for a HIGH price and finance and a outrages price. You might want to think about getting somebody to so-sign for a loan. Or start out building yourself a credit history. Buy a cheap beater car for the time being till you can get the credit to afford something decent.
2. why would you get a place to live two hours from your school? That seems kind of short sighted. Your real solution is to get a place to live close to the school so you don't need a car to get around. If you need money, get a job.
3. Ouch. Sounds like you are going to have a find a $100 car. The other $100 would have to go to gas, insurance (the real killer), tags, taxes.... good luck on that one man. Your best bet would either be the Wal-mart parking lot (around here, people sell cars in the edge of the parking lot for usually pretty cheap). You really need to just try to get a ride up to school and stay there untill you have closer to a grand saved back. Hard to do without a car, I know from doing this myself. Um...old cars go for dirt cheap on Ebay too but you would have to find something local too.
4. Find an older model motorcycle, or beg some more money from your family. Better yet, move closer to school.
5. ok.....1. Steal a car 2. If not steal a bike and rent a small truck with the money saved people would understand cos your a student or if stealing is not for u i guess u can get a job like the rest of us and save for a car......or just bum with a mate until u get sorted
6. Tote the Note Car Lot. These places will sell to anyone. You can get a vehicle and pay for it by the week. Now I am not saying that these places are a great place to do business but desperate times call for desperate measures. If you exhaust all other options then go to one and I bet you will be driving off the lot in no time. These places usually charge more for the car than it is worth but that is the price we sometime have to pay to be mobile. I have visited one one time when I was short on cash and needed a vehicle.
